Note: All characters over the age of 18 will be housed here, and if they reach the age of 18 while in-game, they will be given a room in one of these buildings if they have not established other dwelling situations. The building they are assigned to when coming of age will be reflected by the answer they gave in their original application.
While each building is trimmed in a color matching the satchels you were provided, they are structurally identical.
The bottom floor of each building is comprised of a common room with end tables, a reading nook sans any books, and a grand staircase in the center leading up to each floor, complete with a landing.
In the living room of each apartment and the family room of each home is a stately mirror which is sometimes connected to the MirrorVerse
Floors A & B are comprised of 10 apartments each, 5 down a hallway leading left and right from the stairs. Across from the stairway is a smaller sitting room for floormates. Each apartment can house one person comfortably, two if they choose to cohabitate, but there is only one bedroom with a king-sized bed. There is hot and cold running water and a full bathroom in each unit as well as a very small but functional kitchen with antiquated but modern era appliances that seem to function.
The roof is accessible from the stairway as well and is comprised of a small, rooftop garden and enclosed workshop which, unfortunately, seems to be devoid of any tools, but does contain a worktable and drawing board.

Run by a very homely matron named Agatha, the House of Solace Orphanage, situation in a small green to the south of the residential square and fountain, in a warm and welcoming environment for anyone under the age of 18. There is a warm bed (in shared quarters), food three times a day, a games room, and a playground outside the grounds.

Established characters can move into an abandoned home, provided they are established in the city as facets. They are listed below:
The Miller/Sohma Residence
Location: Noble District - Southeast Side
Description: The once abandoned house has been repaired with the addition of a shed in the backyard. The garden remains a bit messy with too many floors and bushes but a space has been cleared for a laundry line. The deck is new and covers a lot of the bushes that Jacob didn't want to remove. There are three rooms on the main floor; a family room, kitchen, and dining room. The second floor has a master bedroom, a guest room, two bathrooms, and a small balcony over the front door. While fixing up the house Jacob melded Victorian and Japanese styles into the various rooms, see here for reference pictures.

The Maresh/Watts Residence
Location: The Market District
Description: It’s a two floor house. The first floor consists of an entrance hall, small dining room, a sitting room, kitchen, guest room and tiny bathroom between the guest and sitting room. The second floor has a master bedroom with a small balcony, a full bathroom, and a study/personal library. There is a small attic for storage too. There’s a space for a garden/seating area outside to the side. Everything is enclosed by a stone fence.

The Scientia Residence
Location: Southern Market District
Description: Two floor, two bedroom home. Nida has a training room on the first floor for his students, but the house is light and airy with plenty of room. There's a study nook, a library, living room, dining room, and of course kitchen. Outside is a good sized yard with a garden growing herbs and flowers along with a sitting area. Pictures are here.
