Bonus Activity Points

There is no activity requirement her at AteratRP. We're a very laid back bunch and just enjoy having a good time in a pretend world playing pretend people. That being said, who doesn't like the idea of earning some Bonus Points for staying active and participating in the game? That's where Bonus Activity Points, or BAP, come in.

BAP is completely optional and tabulated by player per calendar month. What does that mean? Simple! Every month, if you so choose, come here, find your player thread below (or click the handy link to your thread below). Comment with any character journal currently in game, and a link to each thread with 10+ comments from the current activity month (one per line) to have your points tabulated.

For example, a BAP submission would look like this:

Subject: January 2022

Michael Caine: 19 Comments
Stephen Graham Jones: 12 Comments
Stephen Graham Jones: 14 Comments

Where Michael and Stephen are different characters, all played by the same player.

BAP can only be submitted for the previous month.

How it Works

• 1 BAP is earned for every 10 Comments from your character in a thread.
• Points can only be earned for comments submitted during the month listed at the subject in your comment.
• BAP can be exchanged for items and/or weapons from home as well as named pets or animals from other worlds.

Examples of items that will not need BAP to be purchased:

• A puppy found wandering in the city
• A weapon purchased from and forged by a character/NPC in the city
• Other generic items that can be obtained in the game setting.

Examples of items that will need BAP to be purchased:

• Sephiroth's sword, Masamune
• Cloud's bike, Fenrir
• Harry's dog, Mouse.

Items can cost anywhere between 5 and 2000 points depending on impact on the game setting as well as power of the item and will be on a case by case basis.

To make a purchase, please respond to your top level (the comment from the mod account with your player name) with PURCHASE in the subject, and then the requested item. The mod account will respond with the price, points will be deducted, and you're free to use your new item!
