Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant
Marksmanship
Master Swordsman
Tactician
Leadership qualities
Strategist
Survival Expert
Expert Mechanic
Torture
High Pain Tolerance
Cooking
Fairy Awareness
Link to The Darkness
Exorcism

Personality:Dean Winchester is what you would call a man’s man. He has a macho personality and feels that it is his responsibility to be a father figure to his younger brother Sam. Dean is not big on discussing his feelings, rather, he tends to give a sarcastic comment or blow his feels off as something that he can handle. Not wanting his brother to worry, he puts on a tough guy act to belie the fact that he is suffering on the inside. Family first is a motto for Dean and in his mind, his brother Sammy is first in line… Protect at all costs. He goes above and beyond just being a protective big brother and has admitted to not wanting to disappoint Sam on many occasions. He comes off as not caring, but he feels things deeply. He has learned to hide it well.

He has a brash, blunt and cocky way of talking. Dean is confident in himself when dealing with others, while inwardly he doubts himself, but one thing is certain, Dean Winchester would rather die than give up. He believes in the human race and their right to choose and even though that belief costs him what he loves the most, he does what needs to be done. Dean is not a planner, unlike his brother, he often goes into situations guns blazing and damn the consequences. He loves women and wants to have someone to come home to, but given his life as a hunter, he believes that he has given up the right to a normal life. Dean doesn’t believe that he deserves that normal happy family kind of life, but he works to ensure that Sam has that option for his life. Over the years, Dean’s attitude towards women has changed. At first, they were a means to an end, a way to scratch an itch, a distraction to pass the times between job, but in recent years, Dean has grown to respect the place that women have in his life and in his business.

Dean’s life as a hunter makes him far more dangerous than your average human. Dean will kill if he has to and even has killed humans to save his brother. He has been possessed by demons and as of the past year, the Archangel Michael, yeah don’t get him started on him. Dean and Sam are stronger together and Dean has accepted that and is no longer pushing him away to protect Sam. Dean is not quick to trust, but he does trust Sam and that is all that matters.

Inventory: Dean is coming in with his dog, Miracle, the clothes on his back, a knife in his boot and a pistol on his back, the keys to his 67 Impala in his jacket pocket, his wallet, and cell phone.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: Dean would love limitless good luck

Jacob Miller | OC + Aterat Memories | Not Reserved

Player Information
Name: Ami
Age: 30

Character Information
Name: Jacob 'Jake' Corey Miller
Canon: Original Character
Canon Point: Living in Seattle
Age: 23

(original) world & history: Jacob's world isn't very different from modern-day. There is just one important part that's different and that's the world & life of the Hidden. The Hidden are species who seek to keep their secrets and oddities away from the public eye. There are many types of Hidden and not all of them are known. Information about the Hidden can be found here. Other than the Hidden there is no difference between our world and his. Jacob is 100% human but knows a little about the Hidden.

Jacob's personal timeline/history is here.

abilities: He is human but is trained as a mechanic and a carpenter. He can play video games and is pretty good with puzzles. That's about it.

Personality: Personality test here.

Jacob thinks of himself as damaged goods. He's constantly getting down on himself and struggling against the weight of brainwashed actions and unholy desires. He takes anti-depressants from time to time, preferring to drink crappy beers on adjacent days with the medication. The one thing he takes daily is an anxiety medication that causes his thoughts to slow to a steady, more manageable pace. He has been seeing a therapist for years and has slowly been working on the weight of both his situation and past.

His situation is awkward at best and Jacob is awkward in response. He is trapped between a 'normal' life and that of the magical world of the 'Hidden'. He would honestly have nothing to do with that world except that his older sister is a god among those races and he isn't willing to cut her out of his life. His relationship with his sister is complicated. He finds it hard to be 100% comfortable around her but they're close enough to share life details and hang out every other week at family game night or movie nights.

Despite what Jacob thinks of himself, he is kind and has good intentions. He doesn't want anything in return but likes helping others. He's a rational and calm person in a crisis. He holds a lot of things inside and comes off as private or reserved though he'll answer most questions to the best of his ability; mostly because no one has been rude enough to ask him the questions he doesn't want to answer.

Sometimes adding to his level of awkwardness, Jacob is stubborn. If he thinks that what he's doing is right, he'll do it and he won't apologize. He's done worse things with worse intentions that he doesn't care if he upsets someone in a momentary clash of opinions.

He is a mechanic and carpenter. These two skills bring out his creativity and logical traits. He likes thinking about things in clear black and white terms though he realizes that the world isn't that simple. It's just wishful thinking. Jacob doesn't like focusing on his own problems but will fix other people's problems if he's given the chance. He doesn't keep many close friends but a handful of acquaintances or happy customers at the shop.

Overall, Jacob is relaxed. He tries to live each day as it comes and not think too hard into the future or past. He dislikes commitment to things because he doesn't know where his life is going to take him and he's scared of losing anything else that he cares about. Part of this is also reinforced by the fact that Jacob is both gay and very Catholic. He hasn't realized his sexuality, even at the age of 23, and has yet to balance that in his life. He knows that girls are pretty, he just doesn't think he can be with one… without realizing that he isn't attracted to them.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? For everyone to just relax.

Non battle - Can modify a dragon windpipe into a flute, can play said flute, loves to play basketball, loves video games, very well versed in science, engineering and technology. He is also good at Writing, Compounding, Smithing, Engineering and Crafting.

Personality: Back home on Earth before this whole mess happened, Fayt was attending Bachtein Science University so he's very well versed in science and technology, and the rules and regulations concerning conduct on other planets. He also is more an well aware of the Federation ships and their capabilities. He starts out bratty and lazy about not wanting to do his schoolwork on vacation in Hyda, preferring to playing video games and the battle simulator he talks Sophia into trying out with him.

Fayt demonstrates being protective and being concerned throughout his adventures. He shows concern for his parents and Sophia when the planet Hyda is attacked. And when he is going to be taken prisoner in Airyglyph, he shows concern for Mirage's welfare when it's determined she'll be staying behind to escape. Fayt also does this when Tynave and Farleen create a distraction so that he, Nel and Cliff can get away to safety. And when he finds out Nel is going after them at the Kirlsa training facility, he insists on rescuing her along with Cliff.

At first he is very serious about the Up3 code, (kind of like the code of conduct concerning keyblade wielders in Kingdom Hearts) So to that end, Cliff Fittir calls him a square/straight as an arrow when they first meet.

Sometimes his immaturity shows through though and can get excited about being in battle 'Oh a real fight' and 'That's all you got?' 'Too slow' 'That was easy' and 'Want some?' are some of his cocky battle taunts.

He remains pretty level headed most of the time despite being in circumstances way beyond anything he could've possibly dealt with back on Earth. He becomes a responsible person and others look to him for decisions such as whether or not he'll help Aquaria with their runological weapon even though he gave Nel his word he would while imprisoned in Airyglyph.

Fayt is kind and reciprocates kindness such as when on Vanguard III, he meets a brother and sister. In return for allowing him to stay with them, Fayt ensures he gets replacement parts for the little girl's broken music box even if it is dangerous. And that fact is never even mentioned to either of them. He also can't turn anyone away in need, such as the fairy in Duggus Forest who requested Spring water. So he went and got it for her. He also tells Sophia much later on that it's okay if she lets others down on the planet Styx, even if he wouldn't give himself that kind of break.

He also has a stubborn side, as to when he had a dizzy spell, he insisted he was fine and didn't want to be treated like a baby when Nel offered that Cliff should carry him. This is more than likely due to teenage pride, even if he is nineteen.

Cliff remarks about this stubbornness and says that Fayt is hardcore and can get nastier than Nel. Along with that stubborn nature, sometimes it's due to his morals and a strong sense of justice. At times there's no gray areas for Fayt and things come down to right or wrong with him. He shows this too when dithering about helping Nel and possibly going back on his word because he doesn't want to get involved in a war by helping out with technology. Fayt has no wish to help out and be responsible for the death and devastation that his assistance may cause.

However, he does have a respectful side and addresses people/dragons as they wish to be called, (including a leaning towards miss or mister for address until corrected) and is even thoughtful enough to ask first. (Crosell - The Marquis in the Urssa Lava Caves) He also tries diplomacy and manners before turning to aggression and engaging the great dragon in battle.

He has a habit of inner monologues a lot and he talks to himself out loud. People often reply to him even if he doesn't mean to have been replied to. Another note about him is that he doesn't like to be cracked on about affection and gets defensive when getting accused of hitting on a girl that looked like his childhood friend even though it was a joke.

Fayt can also be one that makes a virtue out of necessity such decides to toss out his strict UP3 code to help end the war. Part of this reasoning too was that he didn't like to see people throwing their lives away. So he agreed to help with the construction of Aquaria's runological weapon. And this isn't someone whos afraid to get his hands dirty or do the work himself because he helped fix the issues with the runological weapon. Iron wire was the issue and went off to help get the copper knew would be needed to help complete the weapon. He also participated in the war and the weapon to try and save as many innocent lives as possible.

H is shown to be helpful since he runs across two travelers that appeared in three different towns. And even though they got turned around and lost, Fayt still gave them proper directions to try and assist them.

Promises are taken seriously, as shown that when a friend of his dies in the battle, he takes it very hard because he'd made a promise to bring this friend to the girl named Ameena who looks identical his childhood friend Sophia.

During the war and after meeting Maria, Fayt learns he was the target of the attacks and that he was genetically modified by his father. So he attempts to make amends and take responsibility for the Vendeeni ships showing up on Elicoor Two by going to the Shrine of Kaddan to ensure the safety of Aquios' Sacred Orb. He tells the Queen that he was the reason the enemy was on the planet to begin with. So he's one to take that sort of responsibility seriously.

Gray shades show up replacing some of that black and white when the swordsman Albel calls him out in the middle of the night in Peterny. He tells Albel that he doesn't see anything wrong with someone living differently than him even if he can't personally relate to it or ever be like that. The swordsman from Airyglyph is someone who's always trying to be strong and proving himself by fighting. Fayt had the option to simply say he hated Albel but he took a moment and thought it over before telling Albel that he didn't hate him and that he understood the swordsman's actions because they were at war.

And later when Fayt is finally (and briefly) reunited with his father, Dr Leingod mentions that Fayt has grown. Here he no longer sees the bratty lazy boy and sees someone speaking about making a stand and being looked to as a leader to make decisions. And later still when he hears the entire truth about why he was genetically modified on Moonbase, he accepts it and is determined to find more answers. Even as Fayt goes on, he just keeps growing more determined to get to the bottom of things, and to stop the Creator from destroying the Milky Way because technology has advanced too far and had sent the Executioners to wipe them out as it had all of the Star Fleet ships and the Aquaelie.

Inventory: Fresh sage, lavender, aquaberries, basil, ripe berries,

Wearing: Battle armor, sword shaped laser weapon
Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? Limitless good luck to get to where he needs to go to accomplish his mission of taking out the Creator to save his universe.

Enis Edrin - Original Character - Not Reserved

[personal profile] blindpuppet 2022-01-19 02:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Player Information
Name: Ami
Age: 32
Contact: Discord @ PhantomStar#1289
Other Characters: Jacob Miller

Character Information
Name: Enis Edrin
Canon: Original Character
Canon Point: After her fathers death.
Age: Appears 26 but is closer to her early thirties.

(original) world & history:

Enis's world isn't very different from modern day. There is just one important part that's different and that's the world of the Hidden. The Hidden are species who seek to keep their secrets and oddities away from the public eye. There are many types of Hidden and not all of them are known. Enis has a lot of data on the Hidden thanks to her fathers experiments. Other than the Hidden there is no difference between modern day and her world. Species information can be found here.

Enis's history is located here, as well as the tests she's gone under. This is an example of the information that's locked in her head. She has videos and other data. She tries not to access it and some data she can't access. She has a safety program in her head that prevents her from hurting herself. Finally, this is a write up of her last test, prior to her fathers death and her escape.

abilities:

Enis has a computer chip in her head and because of that she has certain abilities to hold knowledge. She knows all spoken languages and is used as her fathers testing data base. This is knowledge and information that she can't delete, despite her best efforts.

She can construct maps in her head and literally download them to her laptop. She is talented with music, mixing and things of that nature. It is her only creative outlet. Enis is a Chemist as well as a tech nerd.

She is not technically human anymore but she does have a lot of human physical limitations, as long as she injects the chemical into her system. Enis can fight but it's usually the computer chip in her head controlling her movements, which terrifies her because she never actually learned how to fight. She has a talent with using guns and enjoys the calmness of recreational shooting. In a fight of strength, Enis will lose, but she tries to be tactical and logical about her efforts.

Due to the lack of chemicals in the Aterat setting, Enis will eventually turn into a vampire and I'm going to be mean to her and play it out.

Personality:

Enis has been through a lot but underneath all that crap, her heart is in the right place. She doesn't want people to get hurt because of her father's experiments or to feel the pains that she has felt. This trait stems from what little she remembers about her mother; who had tried, failed and died in order to protect her from her father. She does however see things from a larger point of view and will sometimes believe in sacrifice for the greater good.

She is a stubborn person and sticks to what she believes in. If she doesn't know something she'll look it up and do the research. Enis is a little bit of a closest nerd where the closet is open and it isn't much of a secret. She doesn't let anything stand in her way once she's made up her mind and because of this Enis isn't daunted by very much either.

Enis is usually calm. She doesn't get angry if she can help it and she's the sort to swallow her tears. She's lived a hard life but she aims to come out on top by bottling things inside or getting over it. It depends on what it is. At times, panic seizes her actions and she'll react violently.

And while she doesn't get angry, Enis is easily annoyed and quick to become defensive. She will be pleasant if she thinks she can get something out of it and she isn't above being manipulative but sometimes her annoyance gets in the way of a grand plan.

She is a little awkward and not good at connecting with people on any deep level. She considers most people fueled by carnal desires and so they eat, steal, fuck and fight. She doesn't have a high opinion of those around her. Kindness completely baffles her and makes her uncomfortable.

Enis wants to die. Because of her fathers installments she can't kill herself. She wants to find someone who will kill her or might put herself in precarious situations to get it done.

The strangest part of Enis is when she acts nothing like herself. This is when the computer chip takes control of her actions. It uses the logical of survival and is concerned with nothing else.

Inventory: She has her backpack containing: a laptop, headsets, a few changes of clothes, her gun and two rounds of ammo (x24).

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? The ability to teach and to learn.

Writing sample(s): Test Drive.

Age: 32

Character Information
Name: Angel/Inesa
Canon: Original Character
Canon Point: See History.
Age: 26

(original) world & history:

Angel was born in a peaceful world; the kingdom of heaven. She and her sister were the first twins born in over a thousand years. The last set of twins had been a boy and a girl, as the legend goes, they had nearly destroyed heaven and had been punished for their crimes. It was a bad omen for twins to be born but they were born beneath a lucky sign and that staved off an early banishment. The twins were raised like any other child to the village but separately. The fact that they were twins was a secret held by the village elder.

It appeared as if they were both normal, that was until their sixteenth birthday. One of the twins had claimed a name. No one had a name because there was no need for them. People were defined by who they are and nothing else, there was no reason to label people in any form. Maria wanted more, she wanted to be more and above the others. It was at this time that the elder told Angel of her and her sister's relationship. She never took a name and had been training to go to the keepers. She would learn, record, recite and heal.

Angel kept an eye on her sister over the next two years and while Maria never knew of their blood relation, they were close friends. No one was more surprised at Maria's actions than Angel. She had begged Maria to stay and give it time but Maria didn't listen. She unfurled her wings and left. Angel told Maria that they were sisters then, anything to convince Maria to stay but it only fueled Maria's anger. She rejected Angel and stated that their friendship had been a lie. Angel's heart broke and Maria left.

The voices of Heaven sung to her then and told her that this was her true calling. She was to follow Maria and help her see the light.

2012

For the next 6 years, Angel traveled around the world to find her sister. There were many realms but Earth was the most likely and the easiest to hide in. Angel moved around the North American Continent but her sister always stayed one step ahead of her. She survived a handful of assassination attempts and an incident of bone harvesting; all undoubtedly ordered by Maria who had found a way to manipulate various gangs and illegal organizations. Angel moved discretely after that but Maria continued to eluded her.

2013

She was kidnapped in Chicago a year after she'd left home. This was Angel's first interaction with the hidden super natural world that lived on Earth. She'd heard stories but she hadn't thought that they were all true. It turned out that she was wrong and one of the few powerful Fea left on the Earth had wanted to take Angel as a wife. Angel didn't exactly struggle but she politely refused him. She had no identity so she couldn't get legally married but she was trapped there for several months, avoiding the Fea's advances. His name was Dusk though his human name and identity often changed. Fea were immortal, much like the angel's, and Dusk worked to break down Angel's walls.

Her escape occurred when a young thief named Johnathan snuck into her room in search of some hidden treasure. He wasn't expecting that treasure to be a person. Angel asked for his help and together they fled. Unknown to her, Johnathan had stolen a handful of expensive trinkets from Dusk, despite her asking him not too.

She traveled with him for a few months after that. Johnathan was her first friend on Earth though not her last. After he went on his thievish ways, Angel began to talk to locals and get to know people. At times the quest to find her sister was put on pause because there was someone who needed her help.

2014

A year later she learned about the war of the hidden and for a few months after that, she stayed in a small town in South Carolina. She didn't want to become known and she enjoyed the simple small town life. It wouldn't last, she had to keep moving but that realization came at a cost. Angel found her host family dead one afternoon. The assassin had been waiting for her but she'd been saved, once again by Johnathan. He had gotten rumors of a young beautiful woman being targeted by a few underground groups. Knowing Angel by description, he'd decided to find her and once again help her.

2015

This was her first lead on Maria in over a year. She traveled with Johnathan and they found a balance between her kind ways and his illegal tendencies. He was noble in his own way though Angel didn't like it when he stole, even if he usually stole from people who had money to spare.

This was the first time she had told someone about her sister and who she was. Johnathan coined the name of simply calling her Angel after that.

2016

Angel and Johnathan added an eight-year-old boy, Taylor, to their little group. He was homeless and had been trying to steal from them while they were moving through Las Vegas. Johnathan wanted to leave him but Angel won the argument and the boy came with them. He was learning to steal from Johnathan while Angel taught him to read and write. She really didn't like that Johnathan was teaching Taylor these things.

Half way through 2016, Dusk found them in California. He had a score to settle with Johnathan and wanted to reclaim Angel as property. Taylor died in the fight and Angel's magic couldn't save him. For the second time in her life, she felt her heart break. Her wings uncurled for the first time in the human world. They were covered in blood and with the release of magic, their attackers were knocked out. Johnathan took care of the aftermath and pulled Angel away.

They couldn't take Taylor's body with them but Angel created a grave for him anyway, out in the desert a few minutes outside of Los Angeles.

2017

Angel focused on finding Maria and despite trying to get rid of him, Johnathan stayed with her. He was worried about her but Angel stopping listening to him. She had to find her sister and finish this. She didn't want to live in a world with this much pain and her calling was to find Maria. After her calling was completed, she could fade.

She found Maria in Los Angeles. She hated this city after what happened to Taylor but she didn't let that hold her back. When she found Maria, her sister was running a nightclub in the city and likely the most dangerous woman in the city. It was because of her that Dusk had found Angel and because of her that Taylor was dead. Angel confronted Maria and felt a brief moment of hopelessness after the conversation. Angel was locked in a cell beneath Maria's club. No windows, no light and she was trapped with her thoughts.

It was in this cell that Angel found her strength again. Her calling wasn't just to find Maria but to help her and to do that she needed to be strong. Well against her natural character, she broke out of her prison using skills she had learned from Johnathan. During this time, Johnathan had been trying to find a way to help Angel but none of his contacts wanted to go up against Maria. He, more than anyone, was surprise at her escape.

2018

It took Angel some time to regain her strength after the ordeal with Maria. She had to learn more if she was going to help her sister but the answer wasn't in LA. She traveled to Scotland and left Johnathan there. She had to figure things out on her own but she promised that she'd see him again and asked him not to steal too much.

Emotions are fluid but Inesa learns to accept them after talking out the new feelings that she's experiencing. She learns about uncertainty, loss, heartache, types of love, jealousy and gains a new strength of heart during this time.

There are also a lot of nightmares made real in the sphere and these trials help her grow. Inesa learns that it is okay to sometimes use force to protect people close to her but she is still a pacifist by nature and will only resort to using magic if there is no other choice.

Sansa Stark begins working at her shop and they become BFF's. Subsequently teaching Inesa what a best friend is. She also learns that it's strange that she has no visible scars.

She eventually learns about love through meeting Jon Snow. Him, Ghost, lancelot and Inesa begin to live together months later. It is a slow build up but she's happy to spend whatever time she has with him and feels as if they are connected, giving her a sense of peace in the uncertainty of arrivals and departures in the sphere. No matter where he is, a part of her will always love him.

Other character relationships are listed here. She will not remember everything from the sphere right away. She will only remember individual people after I talk with the player. Otherwise her memory will be hazy and people will be familiar like she's met someone like them once before.

abilities:

Magic: She has the ability to sense other aura's and energies. It doesn't matter the type of magic because she'll sense anything that changes the natural world. She doesn't have complete control over this ability and will often get unsettling feelings or have nightmares when she runs into something that's particularly bad.

Music: She is a talented singer and able to help people relax by only using her voice. It's a slight mental suggestion that uses the already moving sounds of music to influence another person.

Flying: With the use of her wings, they can be called in both forms but it hurts (a lot) when she is in her human form to summon her wings and so she avoids it unless necessary.

Light: The ability to create colored lights. She currently doesn't know that this skill calls the spirits of any world and can be used to create elemental magic and other nature based magical happenings. Because she is from a peaceful race, she currently has no idea how to use this ability as a weapon. That said, it can create blades of light or sunlight in its purest form.

Angel Blood: Angel blood is sought after and sweet. It's filled will magic and allows her to heal and survive things she couldn't. It is the key to her immortality as well as her durability. Her angel blood also allows her to breathe in space or under water but doing this really hurts and its something else she tries to avoid. She doesn't know the full extend of what her blood does but it does give her a physical edge if she were to ever train and is coveted by vampires and other creatures who feed on life. [Zombies, Incubus, etc.] If it eats people in any form, she will look like the most delicious snack that they've ever seen.

Twin Connection: Her twin, Maria, is forever connected to her. This is how Maria has managed to stay away from her sister for so long as well as tap into her sisters abilities. The connection goes both ways but Angel doesn't know how to control it. She randomly has boughs of uncontrollable rage or will randomly throw things after a surge of emotion goes through her. Since it is connected to her sister, she has no idea when these things happen and she generally tries to seclude herself if it happens for too long.

General Thieving: Something she had picked up from Johnathan. She isn't the most skilled but she has basic lock picking skills and knows how to be sneaky. This isn't a skill she uses often because it goes against her natural character.

Healing Magic/Knowledge: Her magic isn't limitless and this power has the most restrictions. She cannot heal anything that wouldn't heal naturally and all her magic does is accelerate the healing process. Instead of taking 3 months for a broken wrist to heal, it might take 1 month. For illnesses, she can boost the immune system but she can't cure anything that the body can't cure on its own. An example of this is like cancer, where the body has already begun to break down. She can slow it but she can't get rid of the bodies predisposition to regrow tumors.

Water Spirit: A friend of her is a water spirit that lives in her chest. This spirit has the ability to understand Inesa [only Inesa or other spirits] and control water. That said, the spirit is skittish and doesn't like to leave Inesa for long. She can call the spirit and primarily uses him as a dim blue light source. He, like Inesa, is made of magic and has harmonized with her body to live within her. Not so much of an ability or power as he is friend.

Personality:

Despite her sisters mental influences over her, Angel has a pure heart and pure thoughts. She believes the best in people and is always able to forgive; which is likely why she has so many friends who are criminals. This takes a large amount of strength for her to do. She doesn't let her own hurt, discomfort and uncertainty cloud her own judgment. She wants the best for everyone and believes that everyone has the right to choose. Everyone's past defines them but it's peoples choices that show who they want to be.

She very often forgives people who do not deserve her forgiveness. This gets her stabbed in the back, kidnapped and used on a handful of occasions listed above. No matter how often this bites her in the ass, Angel doesn't stop offering forgiveness towards others.

She's found a sense of purpose in the Sphere, living to live but at times it is difficult for her. Her hope and faith is what keeps her going in this moments. It's an unshakeable thing that will never bend or break.

Angel does not give up. It sort of blends into the above point but she doesn't want to bend and fold just because something is difficult. She does everything with a reason and says everything with a reason. If she can't come up with a reason not to do something, then she'll do it because it's likely what she's meant to do.

Much like her twin, Angel desires more than the life of an Angel. She wants to be surrounded by love and happiness but unlike her sister, she goes about it in a good way. She wants to learn about people and help them. She wants to find her place in the world and this fuels her interactions with people. It took her awhile for her to find this desire and act upon it but it helps her connect with people, even when she doesn't fully understand what they're talking about.

Angel hates fighting and violence. Yes, she understands that it's something that people do but she would rather get herself hurt if it means she won't hurt someone else. This means her powers are under developed despite the time she could have learned to use them and that she gets hurt... a lot.

Angel cannot control her connection with her twin. Maria is in control and will often lead Angel into situations where the people she cares about end up dead. Maria can also send bursts of uncontrollable emotions to Angel and have her act out in ways that she normally wouldn't. It has to be an emotion that Maria is feeling which is traditionally violence of some sort. Angel has hurt people because of this and when she feels something odd she'll try and lock herself away from others. There is nothing else that she can do. Maria is not in the game but this is by far Angel's biggest weakness.

The feeling of being lost sometimes rivals her hope. It's that little knot of uncertainty and fear that whispers depressing thoughts in the back of her mind. Angel dislikes this weakness in her and does what she can to fight against it but after being locked in a windowless room for over a month, she knows that it's there and if she isn't careful, that hopelessness can fester and turn into something evil. It's the reminder that her and her sister aren't all that different and that it's only their choices that have separated them thus far. This fear is deep and Angel doesn't believe it'll go away until she's able to help her sister. This feeling has faded in time but there is always a seed of doubt lingering in the back of her heart.

Inventory:
- Her white bunny Lancelot.
- Lock picking set.
- A white dress & brown jacket, scarf, stockings, boots.
- Two rose-quarts necklace that are connected together and communicates danger.
- Bakshi Stones.
- Bracelet from Seregil - Pink butterfly is rose-quarts, white butterfly is azure and it's a silver band.
- A small statue of a reef made out of real coral.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? Limitless good luck.

Jon Snow | GoT | Not reserved

Player Information
Name: Katie
Age: 40+
Contact: [plurk.com profile] siriuslydementd

Character Information
Name: Jon Snow (aka Aegon Targaryen)
Canon: Game of Thrones the TV show
Canon Point: Episode 7x05, Eastwatch, plus CRAU from the Sphere
Age: 23

(canon) background: Wiki
(CRAU) background: Shortly after his arrival in the Sphere, Sansa sat him down and explained the story of his parents, which was then something he had to start figuring out how to accept. He was able to consider more about what it meant when Ned arrived and the two of them were able to discuss it. When Robb arrived and Jon had to explain it to him, it was an opportunity for Jon to assure Robb (and himself) that he was still the same person Robb had always known.

Events in the Sphere such as the appearance of ghosts from the past, or the sharing of memories, forced him to continue to reckon with his past, and sometimes his newly-discovered identity. Although he hasn't fully come to terms with it yet, he has started to acknowledge his heritage more.

He relaxed a bit more in the Sphere, too, after starting to make some friends, and after he realized that his life's not in danger just by virtue of who he is. After he met Inesa, Sansa's best friend, he discovered that he could have some happiness in his life, especially some without complications, when they started living together.

abilities: Since he was raised in one of the great Houses of Westeros, and joined the Night's Watch, he is skilled in hand-to-hand combat, especially with a sword, and a skilled horseback rider. He is also a good head at military/battlefield strategy.

Personality: Since he was raised by Ned Stark, away from all the machinations of court in King's Landing, he inherited Ned's strong moral compass. He'll do what's necessary because it's necessary, but that doesn't mean he enjoys it. He puts the good of the whole above what's best for him, as evidenced when he risks his life on a dangerous plan in the hope of being able to stop an army that threatened everyone in Westeros. He does what he feels is right, and he's never cruel just because he can be.

Another trait Jon got from Ned is his incredible loyalty. Once he has sworn his loyalty to someone, that loyalty is absolute, unless that loyalty conflicts with something to which he has a greater loyalty. He swore fealty to Daenerys, but when he realized that she was a threat to all of the lands beyond Westeros, his loyalty to all of the people who would be affected by continued wars caused him to break his loyalty to Daenerys and deal with the threat. This is also why he fights to protect those who need it, such as those who can't fight for themselves. This extends to those considered outcasts by their society, which he himself has been his whole life due to being (supposedly) an illegitimate child. This loyalty has also led to Jon developing leadership skills. Due to his loyalty to his friends, others will follow him, even when that's not what he set out to get them to do. He became the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch at a young age after a relatively brief time of service, elected to the position after helping to defend Castle Black against an attack. Northmen named him King in the North after he helped regain control of the region. In neither case did he put himself forward for this; it was others who wanted to see him in a leadership role. These are roles he takes on reluctantly but once he has them, he does them in the way he thinks will benefit the most people.

Like anyone else, he does have his faults, too. Due to his demonstrated stubbornness, he sometimes has a hard time following advice. There are ways that he thinks things should be done, or ways he wants to do them, and he doesn't tend to take the advice of someone who suggests it should be done differently. Sometimes he turns out to be right, and sometimes he doesn't. He's also honest to a fault. He's bad at lying, and can't do it even when obscuring the truth would be better, such as when attempting to gain allies. Because of his unflinching honesty, he can't usually see treachery in someone else until it's too late. At least until it kills him, at which point he does become more wary, but no less honest.

Inventory: Clothing made by Inesa and Sansa, with a three-headed wolf embroidered by Sansa; a fur-lined cloak; a knife worn in his belt for protection; his sword, Longclaw; I would also like for him to have his direwolf Ghost, if at all possible.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax?

Drizzt Do'Urden | Forgotten Realms | Not Reserved

[personal profile] usestwohands 2022-01-24 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Player Information
Name: Heather
Age: 38
Contact: vikael#0221 (discord)
Other Characters: Harry Dresden (The Dresden Files), Cloud Strife (FFVIIR), Jagger Crow (Original Character)

Character Information
Name: Drizzt Do'Urden
Canon: Forgotten Realms
Canon Point: The Crystal Shard; Chapter 19
Age: 72 (Appears early 20s)

(canon) background: here

abilities:
The Drow have several racial abilities at their disposal, as follows:

  • He can summon an impenetrable globe of darkness that not even infravision can pierce.
  • He can shroud things in faerie fire, which is a harmless flickering flame of which he can choose the color. It’s usually used to make things easier to see in complete darkness, or to distract people and make them run when he thinks fighting would be disadvantageous.
  • He can see the infrared spectrum, and his sense is so acute, he can, in complete darkness, see the minute outlines of rock walls heated by hot springs nearby, or the traces of body heat left by something living that touched a none-living surface recently. When he a child, he used to draw pictures on the floor with his toes using his body heat.

Being raised in a subterranean environment, Drizzt is weak to direct sunlight, it leaves him dizzy and weakened and nauseous, and any bright light will leave him temporarily blinded and incapacitated.

Drow are also inherently more agile and fast than humans, but not super-humanly so. Drizzt specifically won a dual at Melee-Magthere in which he was allowed to claim a prize from the loser. Drizzt took his bracers, which are enchanted and drastically increase the physical speed of the limbs they are worn on. Drizzt quickly learned wearing them on his own wrists made his already very quick movements too fast and nearly impossible to control, so he now wears the bracers around his ankles so he can run faster.

Drizzt is a highly trained fighter, and while he trained in many weapons until Zaknafain’s tutelage, he always favored the scimitar. He dual-wields the weapons, and his fighting prowess has more than once seen him described as a dancer, weaving a complicated, lightning-fast, and almost choreographed dance of death with the blades. He can also use long-swords, crossbows, and strung bows with some skill, but nowhere near the skill of his blades.

He is a Ranger of Mielikki, and he can use her powers of reading the land and the sky to predict weather changes, and he can communicate on a limited level with animals, to the point it almost seems as though he’s holding a conversation with them.

His own youth and insatiable curiosity gets him into no end of trouble, and while he is starting to learn how to rein in his need to offer his aid when aid is needed, most of the time, his morality wins out over his logic, and it’s not unlikely he’ll end up in way over his head before he realizes what’s happening.

Personality:
At first glance, if one were to look beyond the color of his ebony skin and the reputation of his own heritage, Drizzt is a quiet individual with a probing violet gaze and keen ears tuned to listening to everything, to absorbing all the information he could possibly find. He’s polite in conversation, but short and direct, reserving his moments of extensive inner monologue for his long times of solitude which he’s grown accustomed to over his life in exile.

Ever since the time Drizzt was young, growing up in the hate and chaos-filled world of the Drow, being subjected to torment after torment at the hands of his vile and evil race, Drizzt has maintained a positive and, at times, jovial outlook on life, and was never blinded by the rhetoric of his often heretical people. Drow children are raised on tales of the surface races, told from the time they can understand speech that all the races that dwell in the light, elves, dwarves, humans, all of them, are evil, disgusting, malicious creatures that will slit your throat as soon as look at you. They are taught that the faeries, what the Drow call the surface elves, are to blame for the drow being cast from the surface and cursed to forever dwell in the bowels of the earth.

Drizzt never fell prey to the lies of his people, though. After graduating from Melee-Magthere and joining a regular patrol group bent on keeping the horrifying creatures of the Underdark from Menobarrenzan’s doorstep, he was assigned by his mother, Matron Malice of House Do’Urden, to a surface raiding party along with his father. Upon seeing a group of faeries dancing at a bonfire, Drizzt couldn’t believe these happy creatures, with their frolicking children, could have malicious intent, going so far as to say, “These creatures are not -- cannot be evil.” It awoke a desire in Drizzt to truly understand all the races he was raised to hate, to know them for what they really are instead of the lies the Drow spin to propagate their own villainy. It is a desire that has never waned, even through the years as he’s faced all the persecution his own race’s reputation forces upon him.

Even from a very young age, Drizzt has had a deep-set understanding of honor and an understanding of what is right and what is wrong. Most Drow lack this simple understanding, giving themselves up to the chaotic hatred of their Goddess Lloth, the Spider Queen, patron deity of the Drow. Drizzt has never been able to stomach the mockery of justice that rules the world of his people, and ultimately this almost instinctual disgust is what drove him from their halls.

While not blindly trusting, Drizzt, in contrast with the standard of the Drow, is loyal, trustworthy, honorable, and just. His age also makes him a tad reckless at times, rushing in to a situation to champion a cause he knows next to nothing about. He killed an entire band of gnolls because of this once, shortly after coming to the surface world, and he’s since been trying to understand a situation before he makes his presence known. The fate of the gnolls weighed heavily on his conscience for days before he was able to decide the humans he’s assumed the gnolls were planning on attacking were indeed good people and he’d chosen correctly.

When he does feel at ease with people, he is still quiet, but to a much smaller extent. He can be silly at times, slightly melodramatic, playful, and jovial. Mooshie introduced him to the worship and religion of Mielikki, the patron goddess of the forest and of Rangers, and at first Drizzt was adverse to the notion. He’d only known one other religion, the worship of Lloth, and he’d seen the destruction her religion caused, but over time, Drizzt learned that the ways and laws of Mielikki had always been his, he simply hadn’t known it. He now worships her openly, and often protects others in her name. Mooshie also made him realize how comforting the companionship of friends can be, and endowed him with a deep love of friendly company.

He’s always had an almost insatiable curiosity, but he’s only recently, and only with Mooshie, started to ask questions to fulfill his vast interest in all things he doesn’t understand. His second-sister, Veirna, made certain he, as a male, understood his place, and that was to speak only when spoken too. So, instead of asking question upon question, Drizzt is more likely to quietly, silently really, observe until he feels he has enough of an understanding to present himself to the objects of his interest. His curiosity can be so demanding at times that he ends up in some pretty dicey situations, as well, spanning from the harmless occurrence of scaring a skunk (an animal he’d never heard of), to the more serious scaring of a group of farmers that ultimately lead to their massacre at the hands of a Barghest that meant to get rid of a new-found threat to its growing power.

Drizzt has an indomitable will and perseverance, and refuses to back down from situations in which most would simple give up. Facing monsters doesn’t phase him, or the prejudice of his people. Drizzt’s faith, both in himself and in his beliefs, steels him against anything anyone or anything could throw at him, having even defeated his father, the one person Drizzt had ever actually liked in Menzobarrenzan, when he was raised from the dead and sent after Drizzt simply to put an end to him, once and for all. He’s defeated Barghests and gnolls, hook horrors and mind flayers with equal capability, and it’s his faith and his belief that he is doing the right thing that gets him through most of his battles. Drizzt’s abilities wane quite a bit when his heart isn’t in a fight or a situation. If Drizzt doesn’t believe in something, it is the only time he will fail.

He’s very passionate about his friends, going to sometimes outrageous lengths both to earn them and to save them. No monster or circumstance is foreboding or threatening enough to stop Drizzt Do’Urden when his friends are in danger, even going so far as to intentionally decline friendship if he feels his reputation, or his family which is hunting him, would bring harm upon others who know him. Drizzt’s well-being is always second-rate in the face of those he cares for, and he will shove all care about his own safety, mentally or physically, to the wayside if someone he loves is in danger.

During his ten years of wandering in the Underdark, alone save for his one constant companion, Guenhwyvar, Drizzt was Alone. Both to survive against the unknown and indescribable horrors of the Underdark and to combat the growing isolation in his own mind, Drizzt developed another aspect of his personality. He doesn’t remember much of those ten years of solitude, of the endless and indeterminable spans of time between sleep cycles. He was a creature of pure instinct, of blood-lust, and of survival. Now, though he has returned to himself for the most part, Drizzt calls this aspect of his personality ‘The Hunter’, and he has slipped back into that mental state when he or his friends were greatly threatened. Once it was on accident, when the retelling of a story in which he battled a basilisk caused a flashback that made him snap into the Hunter. Another time was when the wraith of his father threw Guenhwyvar into an acid pool, he welcomed the Hunter taking over, so he could exact revenge for her apparent death. When Drizzt becomes the Hunter, he himself blacks out and follows nothing but his instincts. His physical prowess reaches its peak and his movements are almost too difficult to follow.

In addition to desiring to meet other peoples, to understand them, to make friends, and to fulfill his mentor, Mooshie’s, dying wish that he find his place in the world and stay in it, Drizzt understands he needs the companionship of others to keep the Hunter at bay. While he hasn’t had an episode of the Hunter taking over in nearly five years, when things are dicey, he can feel the darker aspect of his nature there in the back of his mind, waiting for its chance to take over.

Player Information
Name: Ami
Age: 32

Other Characters: Jacob Miller, Enis Edrin, Inesa/Angel

Character Information
Name: Princess Luna
Canon: the Pentamerone
Canon Point: After being saved by the palace cook from being eaten.
Age: 8

(canon) background: The summary of the story is here. It is way better than the wiki summary but is still short enough to easily digest.

abilities: N/A

Personality:

Unlike her twin, Luna is silent. After nearly being eaten by her father she lost her voice and was trapped in silence. The trauma only caused her brother to be more protective but she was comfortable with it.

Like the moon for who she's named, she is happy to hide in the shadow of the sun. She is a sweet girl and as beautiful as her mother who is known as Sleeping Beauty. She loves to dream of cute fairy tales and sweet loves but has no real desire to leave the safety that she was born into.

Due to the time period that her fairy tail takes place, she enjoys needlepoint and watching her brother practice with his sword. She loves to learn instruments as well as dance. Her education isn't perfect as she lives in a hunting castle with her mother and a bare minimum of staff. Her grandfather, father's mother, had forgotten about his daughter after she had fallen into a deep sleep. She learned to read and write from her mother as well as manners. Her mother's 'sleeping curse' affected her when she was in her late teens, allowing her to learn enough to share her knowledge with her children. Luna spends a great deal of time inside but she likes it that way, her fear of the outside world only increases after the first time she leaves her mothers home to visit the main palace where her father lived.

Unlike her brother, she never realized the truth of her birth and was introduced to the world when meeting the Queen who hated her, her brother, and her innocent mother.

Luna has learned to communicate without her voice though she is a bit clumsy with it. She often tries to spell out words but struggles to make complete sentences without pen and quill. She learned to communicate with the palace cooks wife, who taught her basic baking in an attempt to keep her safely out of sight from the evil queen.

She is also the cutest child ever and as beautiful as her mother.

Inventory: Only the dress she's wearing.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? For everyone to just relax.

Writing sample(s): Both twin's are written here. A sample for just Luna is below for an idea of how she will interact with those in the city.

Arrival

Small fingers curled together while the weight of the scratchy wool blanket called the twins to sleep. This was the last thing that Luna remembered before her world was shattered. At first, she thought it was a dream. Nothing but a dream could summon her but then, what was happening? Maybe it was a witch or a monster?!

Her mouth opened and a silent cry tore from her throat as her body snaps back into its proper orientation. She's curled up on a floor sculpted of stone, her bare feet chilled as she stood next to the fountain. There wasn't anyone around her but she knew that the witch must be nearby. Was it a good witch or a bad witch? Would she be eaten?! Witches ate children who wondered away from home.

Tears began to fall down her cheeks as she looked up and saw Halcyn shining above her. The explanation lacked context for the young princess and left the child more confused than she'd been when she'd first awoken. Was this not a dream?

The bag was placed in her palm but the items meant nothing to her. She wanted her brother, her mother.... she wanted to go home. She cried silently, until she was alone in the daunting outdoor garden.

When her tears were dried, Luna began to look for her brother. She started in the shadows before slinking nervously out into the city. It didn't take long until she was overwhelmed, crying for the second time in a shadowy alley. She wasn't able to speak but soft squeaks managed to catch in her throat between violent sobs.

'Mamma' She cried, wishing she could call for her mother.

Character Information
Name: Terra
Canon: Kingdom Hearts
Canon Point: Post KH3, & ReMind
Age: Canonly 30

(canon) background: Here

Abilities: Here

Personality: Terra is a very powerful keyblade apprentice, one of the youngest to test for the Mark of Mastery. Underneath the usual calm and reserved exterior is an ambitious and determined person wanting to become strong to fight to protect and take care of his friends. He is determined to better himself, he's passionate and has a heart of gold. He has a humble nature, his heart and actions grounded in strong conviction and fortitude, and he's studious, headstrong, caring, has strong convictions, driven, and has great tenacity. But when he fails to reach his dream of becoming a Master, Terra becomes upset and withdraws, pushing his friends away so that he can try and figure things out on his own. He has a willingness to accept failure and own up to negative occurrences even if they weren't his own fault, or if anyone else would've fallen for the same tricks. He focuses internally and tries to solve things himself instead of asking for help or comfort. He's definitely not a fan of failure or criticism and when he screws up, he takes it really hard instead of chalking it up to being a mistake. Terra is also more inclined to blame himself rather than someone else as he is very hard on himself.

The reason for his failure though is that the Master Eraqus says Terra has darkness in his heart, he has an obsession with strength and is afraid of losing. While it's true he wanted power, it was to be able to aid others, and not for himself - to protect the things that matter. He truly wants to be stronger than what he is and cast out what would weaken him in the Master's eyes, which would be darkness. And he really works to become 'Stronger than the you of yesterday'. When setting out, Terra is wanting to prove he's strong and good enough to become a keyblade master. To do this he even deviates from the path that was set before him by Master Eraqus and goes his own way. This was because Terra felt inadequate that he wasn't named Master by Eraqus, from who he received a sturdy foundation and proper teaching. And he was underestimated by Eraqus, Aqua, and even Xehanort.

Throughout his trials, Terra worries about the darkness in his heart and how to conquer it. He feels deeply, is weak on the logical side and his internalized emotions are volatile. They have a tendency to get out of hand at times too, easily making a mountain out of a molehill. When he feels hurt or betrayed like when he finds out Aqua is spying on him for their Master, again, Terra turns away from her and doubts her and Ventus' friendship. He tends to strongly dislike conflict with those he cares about, and tends towards avoidant behavior like giving the cold shoulder and leaving rather than arguing as he does in Radiant Garden. Still, later on he takes out his wayfinder and speaks to it several times as if speaking to his friends themselves, still ready willing and able to fight for them. This is shown when he eventually faces Master Eraqus himself to save Ventus, setting aside decorum in order to do what he feels is the right thing to do. Terra can be impulsive and acts immediately on his emotions instead of thinking things through logically because cares too deeply about his friends to act rationally if they're threatened.

Although he set out alone for his own quest, Terra's desire to help others is still very prevalent. And he won't go back home to the Land of Departure until he's figured out how to right his wrongs, like stealing Princess Aurora's heart, even though he was controlled by Maleficent to do so. Terra doesn't realize this until later that he's been manipulated, because at the time he truly believes he stole the princess' heart. He was totally fooled into thinking he did the deed, but it was really Maleficent's manipulative actions - because he didn't possess the darkness to carry it out of his own volition. And any time something like that happens, Terra is remorseful and guilty, wanting to do better, to redeem himself for his misguided attempts. When he does wrong, he apologizes realizing his mishap, but only after it happens. Terra beats himself down due to his shortcomings, growing more desperate to show his progress & strength against the darkness (and he had even told himself and Aqua he was strong enough to hold it back) However, whenever he's doing his task, he sincerely believes it's the right thing at the time and is more than willing to fight for it. He's also an 'innocent until proven guilty' kind of person, idealistic and trusting with being prone to assuming good intentions on the part of anyone he meets until he's forced to accept that's not the way it is.

Terra strives and is eager to do the right thing, having the best and most noble of intentions but this gets foiled time and again by being manipulated by villains who coax him into wrongdoings. He gets tricked easily with his trusting naivety, believing others are like him and wouldn't twist things around or do a wrong thing on purpose, so in that he's misguided. His trusting nature could be attributed from not having experienced any of the outside world and believing everyone is like the people he knows on his home world. As Terra himself had said to Ventus that it was hard to believe there were so many other worlds out there.

'A little praise goes a long way' is true of Terra, and that's how Xehanort was able to get him wrapped around his fingers, after hearing repeatedly from Eraqus that darkness is evil. To hear someone say something nice and even respectful since Xehanort called him 'Master Terra' actually worked on him out of Terra's sincere desire to be good and to prove himself. It was different to be found to be strong and found worthy of such praise. Xehanort didn't call the darkness in Terra's heart evil, he simply said it could be channeled and acknowledged without making it into a big bad evil deal thing. And in the process reminded the other of the balance between light and dark that had to be struck, unlike hearing 'darkness is evil' and must be banished/repressed.

With others, Terra is polite, courteous, respectful and formal, addressing people by their titles or rank. Or if he's not aware of what to call them, it's still a polite term or title such as Merlin's 'Your Elderness'. Deep down, Terra is wanting to be there for the people around him, regardless of friend or stranger. He's also good with children, protective patient and kind, willing to spend time with them which shows when he protects the Lost Boys from Hook or passes on his keyblade bearing ability to Riku. He protects others along the way too, such as escorting Cinderella to the Ball or letting Tinkerbell out of her hourglass. As far as physical affection goes, he doesn't show it and only returns gestures after they're shown to him first, such as a light punch in the arm as he exchanged with Zack in the Olympus Coliseum. However, those that oppose or get in Terra's way face an outspoken angry person and when facing unversed he rushes headlong into battle.

He is the older brother figure to Ventus and Aqua is a rival and a dear friend with whom he shares the same keyblade master dream. With even that, Terra was diligent and focused in becoming a master. But at times, some of the pushing away that he does to his friends is to protect them, although they can't see it at the time. Terra stated to Cinderella's fairy godmother that he believes that it takes work to make dreams come true and so he isn't afraid of hard work and dedication. He also shows leniency and mercy when Ventus is practicing with he and Aqua in preparation for their Mark of Mastery test, not overwhelming Ventus with battling both of them. So with that, Terra walked away instead. When the actual test comes, he shows faith in Ven's abilities and tells Aqua that he's been training hard right along with them. His friends are important to him, shown that he keeps thinking of them and talking to them, recalling things they've said or done together. Terra also loses his customary poise and cool when Experiment 626 steals his wayfinder charm that Aqua had made the trio of friends before the Mark of Mastery exams.

He's open to new things, people and situations, not judgmental and people seem to just gravitate towards him. And while he's capable of being friendly and outgoing around the people he cares about, he tends to keep to himself around people he doesn't know. Terra thinks out loud, and often ponders his situation vocally with other people who he interacts with, such as Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. He's looked up to as a hero by Zack after freeing him from Hades' spell, and Terra doesn't look for or seek fame, fortune or gratitude. He protects Cinderella so she can go to the Ball too. However, even with gratitude or repayment, he shrugs it off, such as when he tells Zack he's no hero due to knowing his own flaws and wrongdoings. On the other hand, he does have a good influence on people he comes into contact with such as in Cinderella's case, he helped her to gain confidence, instilling strength & belief in her. And Zack wanted a fair and square rematch some day with him. The exception to not being open though is when something has been agreed on beforehand, such as when the Queen has offered to ask her Magic Mirror for information on Master Xehanort's whereabouts. He can be strong willed, stubborn and believe he is right until he is shown otherwise. This is also shown when he faces Master Eraqus, protecting Ventus' destruction, willing to share in Ven's destruction since he won't obey his teacher. In his fight against Master Eraqus, he used darkness to fight for light and allies as in rescuing Ven and used darkness to create a light corridor to keep the boy from being destroyed.

Terra believes in the power of friendship, as he says 'What I do I do for friendship' before going to the Keyblade Graveyard. He promises Aqua that he went astray and won't do it again, although he owned up to helping Xehanort strike down Eraqus. Facing off against the corrupt Master when he appears there too, Terra leads the charge and pushes Ventus backwards to take the man on by himself. When dealing with Xehanort at the end, Terra says that even if his body is possessed, Xehanort can't take away the reason he keeps fighting. He also says that whatever the cost, he's ready to pay it. His lingering will encased in his armor even fights Xehanort, trying to right the wrongs. Terra doesn't try to escape, as his master Eraqus (who he refers to as his father) had already set foot in his heart. Believing his sacrifice will save his friends, he goes into the darkness and promises Aqua and Ven that he will one day set things right.

Terra used great stores of perseverance in fighting against own body and used the darkness to fight without submitting his heart. Earlier though in his fight with Braig in Radiant Garden, Terra had been afraid. He owned up to tapping into darkness against Braig which resulted in the other's loss of an eye. However, that had him thinking that he couldn't go home again.

Before seeing Aqua in the darkness, Terra is woken by Namine, and with their exchange, she makes sure he continues his fight after she wakes him. Later, he sees Aqua there he explains she's remembering him how he was but he's just an illusion created by her heart. He tell her he has ties to the darkness and to forget about him. He can't see Ventus as she can but goes onto fight the one who's in control of his body so that she and Ventus can remain safe. So even in darkness he still wants to protect his friends. Even with his lingering will that fights with Xehanort, he 'sacrifices' himself to save Sora though having met the boy once before he wanted to know where the one went that he met and passed the power onto. (Riku)

The promise to make things right is followed through on when his friends are being threatened. (roughly 10 years later) Terra wrests himself from Guardian to reclaim his body and rescues his friends from falling from a great height. Setting them down gently, he breaks the chains they're bound in, repeating his promise. This shows that he was still resilient against darkness. Reuniting with his two friends once he returns to his normal form, Terra cries, telling them how he heard them in the darkness. He then promises to Sora to watch over Aqua and Ven to let them rest and they all rejoin the other keyblade wielders in the final battles. Through it all, he was resolved to do what is right, to set things right as he'd promised. Terra felt he could right the wrongs and set things straight, and do whatever he needed to in order to try and make up for it.

As he's now chronologically ten years older, there's a wiser, calmer and more confident man who will face situations. This calm and confidence is shown when he faces down Xehanort and releases the spirit of his former master Eraqus to speak with the man who possessed his body. And even with facing more foes, Terra's conviction never waivers and he even gets to fight alongside Riku. Later, he shows the boy who would've been his own apprentice a more playful and dorkier side, and again by not letting Ven in on a 'secret' which was simply Terra and Riku's chat ending in a laugh. But before he vanishes into the darkness, Terra looks back at the Riku who is now a keyblade master in his own right before turning to go search for Sora with Aqua and Ventus.

Inventory: Orange wayfinder, shoulder armor (that can turn into a full suit of armor) Earthshaker keyblade that can turn into a keyblade glider.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? The ability to teach and to learn, he was supposed to become a keyblade master and teach Riku. He does say in ReMind - 'I have nothing more to teach you' to Riku.

Mitsuru Kirijo | P3P | Not Reserved

[personal profile] bufus 2022-04-22 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
Player Information
Name: Meghann
Age:30s
Contact:PM/Discord
Other Characters: Illyana, Ivy, Aerith

Character Information
Name: Mitsuru Kirijo
Canon: Persona 3
Canon Point: November 19th after the hot tub incident
Age: 18

(canon) background:Here

abilities:Mitsuru has a variety of support, ice, physical, and randomly almighty abilities. Her support abilities include:
-basic telepathy that allows her to communicate back and forth with people.
-Sensing opponents abilities/attacks
-Limited psychic tracking/mapping abilities that can be enhanced with technology she carries with her that's never explained.
-Limited clairvoyance.
-A psychic ability that makes people run around in a panic.
-A charm.
-Strong single target heals, lacks aoe heals.
-Ability to buff others magic.

Her ice abilities include: extremely strong single target ice skills, aoe ice skills, the ability to reduce resistance to ice, an immunity to ice herself, and the ability to manipulate ice to use for various things.

For some reason she also has the potential to learn physical attacks (vorpal blade) and attacks that combine bother physical and ice (niflheim), as well as Megidolaon, a non elemental ability.

Personality: It's not a coincidence that Mitsuru's element is ice. She's almost the perfect ice queen in many ways, with walls that she's built up around herself that help her to detach from just about anything. She's calm, always collected and patient, nothing seems to rattle her. She's aloof and detached when she speaks, usually she handles everything (including social interaction) like a business.

People hold her on a pedestal and often think of her as untouchable, which means she rarely interacts with others her own age. Mitsuru is a wonderful speaker, capable of inspiring people and rallying them together. However, when it comes to simple day to day interaction with peers, Mitsuru lacks any skill and tends to come off as pretty awkward. She does have a certain amount of curiosity about people her own age and how they interact, but it baffles her and she's not fond of doing things that could lead to embarrassment or failure.

Mitsuru grew up in a very isolated environment, her family is one of the most prolific families in Japan owning an empire that she would inherit eventually. For most of her life everything has been done for her, her clothes are bought for her by a stylist, her room was designed and furnished by a stylist, and she's always had her decisions made for her. Her motorcycle is the only thing that she has to show her individuality and she's used that as a way to “rebel” against the confines of the Kirijo Group.

Despite her desire to rebel a bit almost her entire life has been dedicated to the Kirijo Group and protecting her father. Protecting her father and redeeming the Kirijo name was her main goal for most of her life. She knows that her family is responsible for the Shadows and she believes that if she can stop them, then she can clear the Kirijo name. Prior to her father's murder she thought that clearing the Kirijo name would allow him to live his life without guilt, he could just be happy. That's what she was fighting for, to give her father a life without guilt. When she was betrayed by Ikutsuki she was crushed, the loss of her father and the betrayal took away her will to fight and her will to even live.

At her current point Mitsuru has recovered some of her will to fight and is slowly beginning to see she has other reasons to go on. She still misses her father more than anything and the betrayal of Ikutsuki, who she respected, trusted, and believed in, is still very fresh in her mind. Mitsuru's thoughts are focused on defeating the Shadows and then taking on her role as the head of the Kirijo Group. The board has pushed her engagement up and she plans on going through with it for the good of the Kirijo Group. Her duty to her family, and thus the group, is the most important thing to her. With Mitsuru everything is her responsibility and she has to handle it all alone.

Due to the desire to handle everything on her own she's built up walls that protect her from feeling too much. She has to, she has to keep it together to handle everything. In reality Mitsuru is actually a pretty fragile person, it takes a lot to push her over the edge but when she's finally forced over it, she really breaks. This is evident when her father is murdered, she loses her will to do anything at all.

When she speaks to Yukari about her feelings about her father and her life, it's evident that Mitsuru hurts a lot more than she lets on. She's more broken inside than she wants people to know, she's just exceptionally good at keeping everything bottled up inside and locked away. Despite the fact that Mitsuru has begun to heal from her father's murder, she still isn't fixed completely.

That's not to say that Mitsuru isn't capable of fun, she is. She can make tiny jokes now and then and she really cares about her friends. She'd do anything for them, especially her original SEES comrades Akihiko and Shinjiro.

She also does have a temper, especially when she feels insulted (such as when the boys spied on them in the hot baths), and she's quick to snap and execute then. Mitsuru will not tolerate being disrespected and she can be surprisingly threatening when pissed off.

Inventory: A rapier, evoker, and school uniform.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? Freedom to act

Betsy Braddock | Uncanny X-Force | Unreserved

[personal profile] serendipitously 2022-04-22 04:29 am (UTC)(link)
Player Information
Name: Meghann
Age:30s
Contact: PM/Discord
Other Characters: Illyana, Ivy, Aerith

Character Information
Name: Betsy Braddock
Canon: Marvel, Uncanny X-Force
Canon Point: End of Uncanny X-Force v1 issue 17
Age: Late...20s/early 30s...?? #Marvel

(canon) background:Link

abilities:Telekinesis: Betsy's able to tap into some fairly powerful telekinetic abilities that allow her to levitate people, create shields, create force blasts, shatter ...mountains? (because why not?), and augment her combat reflexes/strength. She can also manifest a telekinetic katana that disrupt the neural pathways in a person's body and can split the bonds between molecules in a person's body. Somehow it can also slice through things like an actual katana. Idk.

Telepathy: reading minds, communicating long distances with people, track people telepathically, mask her presence, and the presence of others from people, control a person's mind, create telepathic illusions, paralyze a person mentally or physically, erase memories or cause complete amnesia, project herself in astral form, create pscionic blasts, and other things. She's also capable of creating a psychic knife, which is referred to as "the focused totality of her psychic powers." When she plunges it into the minds of her targets she can do numerous things with it, including disrupting the neurons of the brain and either making the brain mush or killing someone straight up. Evidently it's one of the strongest telepathic abilities any telepath has. Depending on the writer

Personality:Betsy Braddock's life has been a series of metamorphoses, mirroring the butterfly image that often accompanies her psychic abilities. Her mind was stolen from her, her body and life were stolen from her, and when she was brought back, she felt as though a part of her soul had been stolen from her as well. A darkness set in Betsy's mind after that, a darkness that lead to insanity that often left those around her wondering just how much of a death wish she had.

The truth is, it's a pretty big death wish. It's not exactly a conscious thing, it's not as if she spends too much time thinking on it, but it's there. She says herself that she's left with a hollow and empty feeling inside of herself, a feeling that's left her feeling dead since her return to life. She's become dulled to a lot of things she was once moved by, including killing. There was a time that all of the X-Men followed the same credo of "X-Men don't kill", that time seems to have passed for Betsy at least. When she helps a group of the younger X-Men end up fighting with someone that almost killed them, Betsy suggests they just kill him there to avoid future tragedy, when Mercury tells her that X-Men don't kill, she just shrugs the girl off as an idealist.

Betsy herself is far from an idealist anymore, there's a part of her that regrets losing that part of herself, but she accepts that it's gone. Sometimes, she frightens herself with how cold she can be, and the things she's recently done, but she doesn't try to change. Instead, she just keeps going in the same direction, further towards the darkness, rather than away from it. This path has recently lead her to do somewhat twisted things in the name of revenge, things that she only seems partially bothered by doing. She's only paused to question what she's done after the fact, and it doesn't seem like she spends too much time dwelling on it. That's because if she does, then she won't be able to keep going, and she has to keep going. That isn't to say she doesn't feel guilt over things, or shame. She does, it's just easier to bury them deeply, and in truth, there are some things she doesn't feel guilt over. Some of the things she's done for vengeance were things she was almost pleased to do.

Guilt is something that haunts Betsy a lot lately, guilt over the things X-Force has done, guilt over the pleasure she's taken in some of the things she's done, and guilt over the loss of Warren, which she blames herself for greatly. She keeps most of this to herself because along with the guilt, there's a lot of shame. She spends quite a bit of time wondering just what her twin brother, Brian Braddock, would think of what she's become and what she's done. In fact, she's so worried about this that she creates an entire simulated session in X-Force's headquarters where she has a fake conversation with Brian telling him about what she's done and seeking his understanding and love. She refuses to speak about what she was doing when she was in there, but it's clear that the things she's done weigh heavy on her mind, despite what she projects to others.

She puts on a cold facade, a calm mask for the world to see, despite just how shaken she is on the inside. There are times when she comes off as abrasive and sharp, and times when she just comes off as cold and distant. She's also a very controlled person, keeping a lot of who she is inside of her, while carefully controlling everything about what she presents to the outside. For a long time her life was out of her control, now that she has control back she tries to keep control of everything around her. It's a tense kind of control, one that comes from someone that spends a lot of time in focused meditation. It's rare for her to lose her temper, but it can be pretty dangerous when she does. She really has two types of anger, cold and controlled and furious bursts. It depends on how much anger she's pent up inside of herself at the time.

She's a warrior, having spent a lot of time since her body swap perfecting her skills. She's good at calculating what an opponent will do both in psychic combat and in real combat, not just because her telepathy allows her to sense a person's moves, but also because she's honed her own skills that well. She's focused and driven enough to let very little deter her from the mission at hand or from what she needs to accomplish. There are lines that she refuses to cross, this is shown when she refuses to kill the child that could become Apocalypse and fights her own teammates to protect him.

There is one thing that tends to break that concentration though, and that's Warren. They were together a long time ago and had recently rekindled their romance, however, Betsy was placed as the person in charge of keeping Archangel caged up and that strained their relationship to a degree. It's clear that she loves him more than anything, she's dedicated to him and refused to give up on him even after he'd completely changed. The only thing that's caused her distractions in battles has been him, and even then it's just been a change of focus towards how she had to protect him. She tells him that the only thing that had made her feel alive since coming back was him. His death, at her own hands, has left her shattered, with even more of a death wish. Mostly because she doesn't think she has anything left to live for. She lost him, she had to kill him, and in her mind, it was her fault.

Despite the darkness in her there are times when Betsy can be lighthearted and sarcastic. It's rare lately, but, it's still there, hidden beneath a lot of things. She also has a slightly flirtatious side that comes out every now and then, though it's been very rare as of late. She's also a woman that like the finer things in life, she's very wealthy and always has been. So, she does like nice things and sometimes enjoys indulging in them. She's gotten over a lot of the insecurities she once had, but they still come out now and then, particularly when she thinks she's failed at something she shouldn't have. For the most par though, she's fairly confident in who she is and what she can do. She may not always like who she's become, but she's begun to accept it. As she repeats over and over to herself, she knows who she is now.

Inventory: A katana and her X-Force uniform.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? For everyone to just relax.

Shinjiro Aragaki | Persona 3 | Not Reserved

Age: 38
Contact: vikael#0221
Other Characters: Harry Dresden ([personal profile] harrythelizard), Jagger Crowe ([personal profile] asthecroweflies), Cloud Strife ([personal profile] mostlycloudy), Drizzt Do'Urden ([personal profile] usestwohands)

Character Information
Name: Shinjiro Aragaki
Canon: Persona 3 (FES)
Canon Point: October 4 (Dark Hour)
Age: 18

background: Here

abilities: As a Persona User, Shinji is able to summon a Persona, Castor, to battle for him. Castor has no magical abilities at all. Because his Persona has no elemental strength, it also has no elemental weakness, but it’s not able to attack anything that is completely invulnerable to physical attacks.

Aside from the attacks his Persona can perform, Castor grants Shinjiro strength and agility far superior to normal humans and is able to heal wounds in days that would take a normal human a week or more.

Aside from abilities granted him by his Persona, Shinji wields an ax with moderate skill though his aim isn’t the greatest, and is capable of cooking meals that rival five-star restaurants.

Personality: At first glance, Shinjiro is abrasive, cold, and uncaring of the world around him. He tends to meet most questions with crass cynicism and finite statements designed to end a conversations succinctly and without the possibility of continuing. He tends to avoid unnecessary conversations of all kinds, and doesn’t have a high tolerance for anything he decides is bullshit. He isn’t afraid of sharing information if the situation calls for it, though, and keeps his ear to the ground most of the time so he tends to have more of a handle on situations than his teammates. He’s quiet most of the time, which gives him the time to listen rather than speak. He just knows things that are discussed around him, and he tends to get around, so he hears a lot of things.

Beneath that hardened shell, however, is a gentler person, capable of caring deeply for those around him, particularly those he feels he needs to protect. While still a loner, and very stubborn and set in his ways, he isn’t against changing if he feels the cause is worth fighting for or he feels responsible for the situation. After the death of Ken’s mother at his hand, Shinji separated from SEES for two years, feeling his power was meaningless and only got those around him hurt. It wasn’t until Ken Amada joined the team that Shinjiro returned to protect the boy he’d orphaned.

Contrary to his outward appearance and demeanor, Shinjiro is a very clean and well-balanced person, concerned about how his teammates are taking care of themselves and how they’re eating. He has a particular fondness for Akihiko, his childhood friend of fourteen years, and Mitsuru whom he met in middle school when he and Akihiko joined SEES and the only other members at the time. The only other member of the team Shinji shows any sort of affection for is Koromaru, a dog of particular courage and determination. Shinji makes Koro-chan food from time to time, which he doesn’t actually for the rest of the team.

To most people, Shinjiro comes off as frightening, intimidating, and not someone they should cross, and he likes it to stay that way. He keeps his softer side hidden completely from everyone, though it does shine through to some of the more perceptive members of SEES from time to time. He’s very straightforward, both in how he deals with people and how he handles combat. He’s stubborn and determined, and never strays from his chosen course of action. Once Shinji has set his mind to something, that’s what he’s going to do, like it or not, and you better not have any objections to it, or else.

While Shinji has a deep concern for all his teammates and their wellbeing, he has a distinct lack of concern for himself. He doesn’t take his appearance into account at all and even goes so far as to shrug off healing or support when wounded in battle. His fate was sealed when he killed an innocent bystander, as far as he’s concerned, so his life is pointless. If he can protect those around him, then that’s enough. It’ll never erase the past, it’ll never bring Ken’s mother back or erase the boy’s scars from seeing his mother murdered before his eyes, but if Shinji can protect him, then at least his power was good for something. Even before Ken’s mother, when he first joined SEES, he only joined because Akihiko had. He’d always felt protective of Akihiko, and it was his place to stay at Aki’s side, no matter what.

His death is a point of closure for him in a lot of respects, though, and this will result in his being a bit more open and less stand-offish than he appeared for the majority of his canon. He feels he's made up, at least a bit, for the death of Ken's mother and dying to protect the boy. That doesn't mean he doesn't have a short fuse and isn't exceptional introverted, but at the point of his death, he's made a big decision to try forgiving himself for his mistakes, which makes him a little less abrasive and willing to listen to those around him.

Inventory: The clothes on his back, a few doses of his suppressant drug, and his Evoker

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? The freedom to act without restraint

Contact: vikael#0221
Other Characters: Harry Dresden ([personal profile] harrythelizard), Jagger Crowe ([personal profile] asthecroweflies), Cloud Strife ([personal profile] mostlycloudy), Drizzt Do'Urden ([personal profile] usestwohands)

Character Information
Name: Cole Cash
Canon: Wildstorm Comics
Canon Point: Just after the Nemesis run
Age: ~60 (looks 25ish)

(canon) background: here

abilities:
Guns: Cole is a master of various firearms, from pistols to sub-machine guns and even gatling guns. While in Team 7, he earned the moniker “Deadeye” for his marksmanship, and has yet to find a rival. His babies remain his twin PPV30s, which fire proto-matter packets that can be adjusted to different damage frequencies varying between stunning to armor-piercing blasts that could pock-mark a tank.

Explosives: Being a fan of “blow it up”, Cole has an impressive knowledge of explosives: grenades, bombs, plastic explosives, and more improvised fireworks (such as shooting a fuel tanker, or less largely, Molotov cocktails)
Martial Arts: Cole was trained in hand-to-hand combat while working with I.O. but received intensive Coda training from Zealot. Even still, he prefers keeping on the end of a gun.

Swords/Ceff blade: As mentioned above, he received Coda training from Zealot (the only man ever given the honor) and thus knows his way with a blade nearly as well as with his guns. While he can hold his own, even against multiple opponents, wielding steel, it’s not his preferred method.

Intense Research Skills: If there’s a way to find someone on the internet or through searching through archives, Cole will find it. It was something he learned organizing missions for his team in I.O. and he puts it to use almost everyday working for Halo. He has moderate hacking skills also.

Robotics Design/Programming: Come has created fully remote-controlled robot capable of performing covert operations as well as a living person.

Telekinesis/Telepathy: He has fine control over his telekinesis, being able to independently operate several firearms at once, but his telepathy is more like a battering ram, and while he can take control of people and read their minds, they are completely aware and for everything of their minds that flows into his, as much of Cole is seen by them. It's a double-edged sword, though, as the more often he uses his abilities, the less he becomes able to process the simple concepts of right and wrong, eventually losing anything resembling morality. It essentially gives him a growing god complex. He can, however, passively generate a telepathic shield that protects him from mental influence and that doesn't effect his moral compass.

Regenerative healing factor: Secondary effect of his experimentation, Cole hasn't aged a day since and can regenerate bones and recover from injuries that should have left him permanently disabled, but it's very slow, at roughly the same rate a normal human would heal if they were capable of it.
That being said, he isn't any stronger and doesn't have and greater endurance than a human at peak physical condition.

Personality:

Cole is crass, brash, and impulsive while exhibiting a ruthless streak coupled with a clear (if not off-kilter) moral code, intense sense of loyalty, a deep-rooted desire to be loved. Having once been the leader of a covert-ops squad, Cole is quite capable of planning out a sting operation or assault, and he’s not adverse to dedicating the time to planning required to plot out every conceivable angle before going in. Once in the field, however, he things on his feet, and is a very intuitive fighter, easily adapting his tactics as well as his thought processes to the opponent he’s currently fighting. This bleeds into his personal life as well. He can roll with the punches with the best of them, as he well should have to, being a mild-mannered human in a house full of superpeople. At times he can come across as a stick in the mud when it comes to methods of attack, tending to stick to tried and true methods to get the job done at the end of the day. As these methods tend to revolve around shooting and/or blowing things up, then tend to work pretty well, but he can adapt that to the situation as well, being perfectly willing to shoot the fuel silo instead of the tailing glider to bring it down.

He’s not above killing someone or conning them to achieve his goals, and hesitation never stills his trigger finger if someone’s standing between him and what he needs to get done. He’d never hesitate to spin a situation to his advantage, either, even if that means lying, or cheating the person in question, and if that fails, he wouldn’t object to capping them. That is, unless they’re an innocent. Even in the face of getting paid a considerable amount of money to pull off a job, he’d never hesitate to defer the payment to anyone who was caught in the crossfire. It gets him odd looks from his mercenary buddies, but he really couldn’t care less. In short, chaos and mayhem, while his bread and butter and no where near sometimes foods, are only fun if innocent people don’t die needlessly (that doesn’t mean that slaughtering monsters and/or the bad guys are ever placed in the “needless” category).

Cole’s been allied with a few groups in his past, but the group he is most loyal to (being the one that’s screwed him over the least, which isn’t saying much) is the WILDc.a.t.s. Every group he’s ever been allied with has fit into his mind much like a surrogate family. Whenever he’s involved with a group, be it Team 7, I.O, or the C.A.T.S., he throws himself in 100%. He’s unerringly loyal to them, up to and including taking bullets for team members, but that’s not to say his loyalty is completely blind. He’s left the team twice before, and both times involved the team making alliances with groups or people he couldn’t agree with. He takes these situations very personally and views them like betrayals. That being said, even though he has separated himself from the C.A.T.S. in the past, he still expresses ties to the groups during his voluntary separation, referring to them for compensation for his destruction of property. The C.A.T.S. are his family, or as he puts it, the only family he’s got left. Sure, they’re made up of a bunch of parahumans, human/alien hybrids, kherubim, and one incredibly self-righteous android (who likes to withhold important information from him), but he doesn’t see them as anything other than the people they are.

This loyalty also makes him fiercely protective of those around him, and even more so if he harbors feelings for them. Zealot, an ex-lover, while a bitch who treats him like crap for no good reason other than the fact that he’s a man and thus less than her and he understands that their relationship never really meant anything to her, he would still save her, would still take a bullet for her (and has on more than one occasion, even though Kherubs are exponentially tougher than humans). He’s intensely protective of both Savant and Voodoo, the former being like the little sister he never had (he can’t even bring himself to say the word Penis around her) and the latter a close friend that might have been, in some other reality where Spartan didn’t exist, a love interest.

Love is something that Cole perpetually fails in. At this point in his life, he’s almost accepted it as a fact that he’ll never have nice things. Between Zealot, who was and is married to the Coda to a point where nothing else is more important to her than her code; Spartan, who’s first and highest priority has always been Priscilla and Cole accepted when they first met he’d never have a chance competing with that; and Majestros, with whom Nemesis is smitten. He resigned to all of this, and the crap jobs he’s reduced to, even going to far as to consciously say “this is just my life.” Because of this, and all the other things in his past (his father, his step-father, getting drafted into the military in order to avoid federal prison, genetic experimentation at the hands of I.O, fighting Daemonites, having his legs crushed, the list goes on), Cole has a very jaded and cynical outlook on life. More than anything, though, and what keeps him going, is a strong desire and hope that one day, he’ll get the girl, instead of constantly being put in the friendzone with everyone he takes an interest in. He wants to be wanted and needed, a warm place to lie his head at the end of a long day, and a soothing voice to make the nightmares that plague his dreams fade away into an unimportant haze. He wants a place, and a person, he can call home.

His sarcasm and sometimes callous comments can seem venomous at times, but even through everything the C.A.T.S. have faced, he’s never lost his faith in humanity or in his friends. He trusts them to stick with him through thick and thin, just as he would with them. To spite his tendency to shoot first and ask questions later, he’s not a complete idiot and is fully capable of thinking things through if need be. He’d never hesitate to jump into action if the situation called for it, and he’s always got the team’s back, right in the thick of things with all the superhumans. Even if he would rather be having a brew at a bar somewhere. Friends come first, in Cole’s book. Always.

Inventory: The clothes on his back (which include a combat suit, bulletproof vest, and several pockets of ammunition, and his mask), two .45 semi-automatic handguns, a 3/4 full pack of filterless cigarettes, and his lighter

Player Information
Name: Whimsy
Age: Olllld
Contact: Discord- WhimsicalSpook#8219
Other Characters: Mono & Llewellyn Watts

Character Information
Name: Yusuke Kitagawa - Thief name: Fox
Canon: Persona 5 Royal
Canon Point: Shortly after 8/29 (After the beach day)
Age: 16 at his current canon point

(canon) background: Here

abilities:

Persona - Yusuke can summon his persona whenever he’s wearing his kitsune mask. Pulling it off summons Goemon. This persona gives him several spells, physical attacks, and buffs.

Goemon’s Abilities Currently:
- Bufula ~ Medium grade ice damage and a chance to inflict freeze to one enemy
- Mabufu ~ Light grade ice damage and a chance to inflict freeze on multiple enemies
- Tempest Slash ~ Miniscule physical damage to one enemy 3-5 times
- Dormin Rush ~ Medium physical damage to all enemies with a chance of putting them to sleep
- Rising Slash ~ Heavy physical damage to one enemy, hits harder if following up another person’s attack
- Counter ~ A chance to reflect physical attacks
- Speed Master ~ Automatically starts a fight with Sukukaja (increased agility)

Goemon’s partnership also gives Yusuke combative abilities of a greater skill with a katana and assault rifles than someone of his experience would have. The kitsune mask and outfit are tied directly to Goemon, and appear when needed.

Skill Cards - As long as he has art supplies and a blank card and a reference, he can create skill cards for various skills/abilities. If he hasn’t created one before, he needs a reference. If he has created one before, he can do so again from memory. - We can leave this aside if it’s considered game-breaky/too much! It’s just neat so I’m noting it.

Artistic/Creative: Yusuke’s entire life has revolved around creating art, it’s where his true passion lies... He’s exceptionally talented and creative, and will probably display these skills around Aterat as he tries to create new masterpieces and continue to improve his art. He has been known to experiment with several styles, from more detailed and refined to abstract.

Personality:

Yusuke is a very passionate and driven individual. Once he feels strongly about something, he can get quite vocal and dedicate himself to it entirely. This is reflected both in his dedication to art and to the cause of the phantom thieves.

With the phantom thieves, he’s driven like everyone else to put an end to the wrongdoings of people. The idea that there may be others out there like him who are in denial of the way someone is treating or exploiting them, the idea that there may be others who use their positions of power to hurt and ruin lives will not stand for the young man once his eyes have been opened. He refuses to look away or turn a blind eye again.

The amount of gusto that he approaches and art project with is quite impressive, tending to feel very strongly about the subject and in seeking out references. He isn’t shy about asking for assistance, often requesting their leader’s help in either being the reference, or assisting him with finding one. That said, Yusuke can sometimes get a little too carried away in his passion and misses the mark either due to inexperience or a lack of insight that needs to be corrected, often by someone else. Criticism can strike a rather hard blow, and he tends towards dramatic responses and becoming rather despondent quickly. Questioning the person quickly, if not severely, or falling to his knees in despair as he wonders if he’ll ever be able to capture the emotions and themes that he so desperately wants to understand and display in his art. He wants, more than anything, to be on par with the painter of the Sayuri. Though his mood and confidence can bounce back rather quickly, especially with the right words to snap him out of it. Once he does, he's right back into trying to improve and tackle a project or problem with the same passion and excitement as when he started.

Yusuke tends to approach things with an outside the box thinking and often displays an above average amount of logic and intelligence when approaching a subject with the other thieves. For someone with very little life experience, he still often presents outlooks and suggestions that can be helpful to their cause that the others don’t consider outright. In his art, he’s very creative and excitable when it comes to capturing a theme or idea. His talent has been praised in the past, even if it wasn’t under his own name. Ann goes so far as to compliment and describe the emotions that she senses in one of his pieces, unknown to her at the time that it was his own. Unfortunately, Yusuke’s social skills are very clumsy at times despite the more refined, mature way he speaks. He doesn’t think his approach through, nor does he approach things gradually so much as getting in one’s face and asking. He simply lets his inspiration carry him, and will follow a person unprompted to ask with very little lead up if they would help him.

Understanding and processing complex emotions and feelings can sometimes be difficult for him, and seems to hold him back at times, both socially and with his art. Either when he doesn’t understand a social cue, or misreads an emotional situation without gathering the context and letting his mind jump to the obvious instead of the undertones... There are even times seems unaware of what is socially acceptable to say or suggest, and he tends to be quite earnest about people around his intentions and ideas, especially about art. This sometimes makes him seem pushy, but he often just needs to be firmly told by someone else when he’s overstepping.

Once he feels a connection with someone, he tends towards being both quite loyal and quite insistent around them. This can make him a good ally, someone quick to bond over their unfortunate circumstances in life. Wanting to listen and talk, to reach out and count on and be counted on... But it also can cause a lot of difficulties when he becomes caught up in his loyalties to someone he perhaps shouldn’t. He holds on to his belief that his ‘sensei’ is a good man that he owes his life to for a very long time, almost insistently, as he tries to keep convincing himself of this before he finally realizes and admits the truth. A fellow student is the only person before the thieves that he confided in to being unhappy and feeling as though he were trapped and couldn’t leave, simply because he felt like he owed Madarame for taking him in and raising him.

Even after the fact, despite knowing he can never go back to how things were... He has a hard time only seeing the bad in Madarame. He wishes that the man would go back to how he used to see him, even if that version of Madarame was probably never real.

His idea of boundaries is very loose, and if he gets an idea in his head, he doesn’t tend to consider that not everyone will agree with him. This goes as far as assuming that, because they’re friends, Ann and her family won’t mind him staying with them once he leaves Madarame’s and finds the dorms too noisy and dirty to work on his art. It’s not that he’s entirely without manners, going as far as spending all of his money on an expensive box of sweets to thank them... But he doesn’t consider that asking first would be proper.

Many find his approach and the way his mind associates one thing with another very weird, and the phantoms agree that he’s ‘on another level from other people’ and disconnected at times. He is well aware of how his mind tends towards working differently than his colleagues. Yusuke prefers to describe himself as eccentric over weird, though he prefers that people not point it out at all, being rather sensitive about the fact if it feels like an insult.

Sometimes even seeing a creature or item of a specific colour or shade will inspire him, either with art or with a sudden craving for very specific foods. Seeing Morgana seems to prompt him to crave some black bean jelly.

Still, Yusuke surprisingly tends towards coming off as a more mature and levelheaded member of the team for someone of his age. He’s calmer than the others at times (barring situations where an emotional, dramatic reaction is triggered), and willing to point out details or possibilities while they’re in team meetings. Yusuke can be quite kind and empathetic to another’s plights once he realizes they have been through something or found themselves without a place they truly fit in. He’s very welcoming in the respect that he tries to explain and help someone adjust to joining the group. He also tends to recognize that some members of the group may need time to cope and recover from the things they’ve been through, even with those who he’s prone to bicker with or annoy/be annoyed by.

Not to mention he’s quick to step up and explain things to newer members of the team, helping Makoto with understanding how the phantom thieves and even the metaverse works. He adapts rather quickly to new situations once he’s accepted them, rather than get too hung on things like talking cats or alternate realities.

That said... He also tends to be quite severe and judging of those who act thoughtlessly or in an uncouth manner. Sometimes he doesn’t have a lot of patience for Ryuji between the way he speaks and the way he tends to not think of the consequences of his louder tones or actions at times. Of the phantom thieves, though still wanting recognition, he tends to prefer the more smooth, quiet and well thought out approach.

Unfortunately, his displayed maturity only goes as far as situations and working among the phantom thieves... When it comes to handling money, he tends to be quite frivolous and doesn’t tend to think before he spends his money on things. The only thing he tends to think about when making a purchase is the possible inspiration he might draw from it and then think of food and necessities after the fact. Usually by that point, unfortunately, he has nothing to pay for a meal.

On top of his poor money managing skills, the teen tends to have issues with managing his own health. Once he realizes he’s hungry and is faced with a good meal, he’ll get lost in the food and cravings rather quickly. Some may think he has a large appetite, but unfortunately Yusuke has a tendency to forget to eat meals for long periods of time. At one point, he realizes he hasn’t eaten since the day before. His waiflike build is likely due to this, having been neglected and neglecting himself over the years in his dedication to his art. His teammates even go as far as to try to step up and help him when it comes to these things, at least when he’s with them. Either offering him some money to pay for a meal when they go out, or when their Leader makes curry and invites him to have some. He's always grateful for their kindness, of course, but he never quite seems to learn to take care of himself once he's lost in another project.

Inventory:
- Clothes: Purple, black and gray lightweight tunic length top. Black pants and shoes.
- Key ring full of keys
- Cellphone
- A large black leather satchel containing: A sketchpad, and a small assortment of art supplies (pencils, erasers, charcoal, brushes, watercolour set, a couple of tubes of oil paint probably meant to replenish his collection at the dorms), a couple blank cards, assorted odds and ends that he keeps on him (like a wallet, mascara, a volume of some manga from the library).

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? The ability to teach and to learn

Character Information
Name: Angeal Hewley
Canon: Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Canon Point: Post game/death
Age:25

(canon) background: Here
(original) world & history: N.A
(CRAU) background: N.A

Abilities: Angeal is an excellent swordsman, able to face Sephiroth and Genesis simultaneously in battle, by using his treasured buster sword's handle to block Sephiroth’s blow and a soldier Shin Ra sword to block Genesis. For his sword skills, he mainly uses the soldier sword and only once in a great while does the Buster sword see use. He doesn’t use magic really, except once, but relies on his strength and swordsmanship to handle any difficulties.

His strength is immense, able to wield the Buster sword with one hand, and leap through the air with it. And even though he has the strength and skill to wield the sword, he is shown getting into a fighter's stance with his bare hands and his attacks are physical blows when Zack lines his picture up in the DMW slot wheels, which is a limit break or a move capable of dealing very heavy damage.

Angeal is also skilled with technology such as cell phones or computer or simulation equipment. He can also make copies of himself and they do his bidding, having received Jenova cells, allowing him to absorb creature traits and implant them. But even with all of the things he can do, he is still susceptible to degradation, which is akin to premature aging and graying/whitening of the hair from having received Jenova cells and the ability to produce copies.

He had one other ability and that's the ability to fly with the white wings he has, one is large and one is smaller, both on his right shoulder, and they enable him to fly with ease. And at one point, he had a few different creatures merge with him to create a boss creature known as Angeal Penance. Angeal also had the ability to direct one of the creatures that made up the boss after his death to protect those Zack cared about and deliver a letter to Zack from Aerith. So he could direct these creatures to watch over Zack even though he was dead.

Personality: Angeal is a very serious, stoic, stern, and dedicated person. He rarely smiles though his friends do get to see it from time to time and he does have the ability to tease with a straight face. He has a dry sense of humor which is rarely seen, and only those closest to him get to actually witness that as well. Even though he’s serious and devoted to his missions and duties, Angeal is also protective. He treats those under his command with respect, and as equals instead of talking down to lower classmen. This seems to be his way of keeping them in line and earn their respect. He has been known though to deviate from missions should it involve protecting someone he’s charge of.

Angeal is a Soldier First Class, which is a member of an elite fighting force, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. He is calm in the face of danger, and isn’t fancy nor does he try to show off. Growing up poor, he’s somewhat frugal with his money and his possessions, such as the Buster Sword. He claims usage causes ‘wear, tear and rust.’ And so that sword which was gifted to him is only used on rare occasions, representing his family's honour.

If there’s one thing people constantly hear from Angeal, it’s about having honour, discipline and dreams. The value of honour is something he sees as most important and so he teaches it to his pupil Zack Fair. Zack in turn seems to take Angeal's words to heart and really looks up to Angeal as a mentor and guide. Angeal has a strong sense of right and wrong, and when his birth and creation is revealed along with showing his white wings Angeal turns on himself. He believes that he’s unworthy of praise or honour, since he views himself as a ‘monster’.

Despite seeing himself as a ‘monster’, Angeal continues to help Zack after the initial confusion as to who he was and which ‘side’ he was on is resolved. He made sure Zack was taken care of through his promotion to First Class. Angeal even asks Zack to fight alongside him and help make things right. After his death he sends copies to protect and watch over Zack and those he cares about. Zack in turn continues to ask Angeal for guidance even though his former mentor had passed on due to their close bond. All of this shows what Angeal will do for those he cares about and what he thinks is right. The concept of honor is something that he had become, seen in these actions, more so than a teaching. When he protects, he does so with all of his heart and all of his might.

Friendship is very important to him, he will give all of himself in the hopes to protect his friends and be there for them. He is the warm squishy glue that keeps the three elite first classmen together. Angeal doesn't ask for handouts or steal from his friends. He also does not look for any sort of acknowledgment or repayment for anything he does; except jokingly.

When Genesis, the boy he grew up with and respected, runs off Angeal leaves ShinRa to go look for him. He doesn’t trust anyone else to complete that mission even though this flies straight into the face of obeying orders and the chain of command. Their friendship is more important than ShinRa. Another example of his friendship is when Genesis is injured during a simulated fight, Angeal immediately shows concern for him and gives a blood transfusion to him without hesitation or question.

However, showing his emotions, such as when he gets hugged isn’t comfortable to him and it embarrasses him. Angeal appears to be the balancing force and ‘glue’ between his two other friends of Genesis and Sephiroth. Sephiroth himself laments to Zack later about being on the receiving end of one of Angeal’s lectures. Of the three of them, Angeal is the only one shown to have taken on a student, which requires patience and time. Of the three, Angeal doesn't wear any custom or flashy clothing; he wears the standard issued First Class Soldier uniform without any trimmings. And even if he isn't flashy, he can still handle a blow from Sephiroth and Genesis at the same time, putting a halt to their fighting.

Angeal was close to his mother and so he doesn't react right away to her suicide, since he’s so stunned with grief. After a few moments though he turns and says that his mother couldn't live with shame or dishonour and neither can the son referring to himself. When his birth and mother is brought up by Hollander later, Angeal growls and tells the man not to say her name again. This is obviously something that cut deep within Angeal’s heart and while he tries not to show it, her death has left an irreplaceable hole in him. He sees his own faults in her such as his obsession with honour and he wishes only that he could have been there for her. He partially blames himself for her death and he might never forgive himself for those failings.

He passes the most important thing in the world to his student Zack, passing his hopes and dreams and honor in the form of his Buster blade. Later, through Hollander's change to an Angeal clone, we find out he wanted to save the world and make it a better place, which is something that he hoped his student would do in his place.

Inventory: The clothes on his back.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? The ability to teach and learn since he is/was Zack's mentor.

Character Information
Name: Leon
Canon: Kingdom Hearts 2
Canon Point: Post KH 2
Age: 25/26

(canon) background: Here
(original) world & history: N.A
(CRAU) background: N.A

Abilities: Leon is a master at using his gunblade, which basically is a sword, with a gun’s revolver. The gun can fire, but Leon only uses it as a sword. He also has the ability to increase the range and size of his gunblade. He can cast some magic spells as well, which are Fire based.

Personality: Leon is a man who is ashamed of his past because there he was helpless to stop the Heartless invasion of his home, Radiant Garden. To this end, he hasn't used his given name of Squall until his home has been restored to its' rightful place. That's his way of showing that he doesn't want to be seen as weak or helpless, but that's he's someone who can face off against the Heartless now. In this, he is a proud person, someone with the fierce noble pride of a lion.

But basically Leon is a quiet, introverted person. He doesn’t say too much to anyone, unless it’s of some importance. He does help out when it’s needed, and tries to cheer people on so that they can accomplish what they need to, which is mostly seen in his interactions with Sora. He does what he can to cheer the boy on and help such as giving him the Simba summon and helping fight the Heartless in Hollow Bastion.

He can be sarcastic and a bit cautious but he means well. He's simply concerned for Sora's safety and that of his companions but won't hesitate to get them out of the line of fire, like when he tells Yuffie to leave the hotel in Traverse Town when the Heartless invade.

Leon is unquestionably loyal to King Mickey, and anyone the King sends to him for help A specific example of his is when Donald and Goofy are sent to him for assistance to help find 'the key'.

He has taken a quiet leadership role with the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee and those around him look up to him and respect him, and even Sora is shown to mimic Leon in actions and words. He wants to see Hollow Bastion restored to its former glory, or even something better, so he is willing to put the time and efforts into seeing his dreams come to fruition. Compared to the first game, he's a bit happier and more relaxed since his efforts of restoration have begun to slowly bear fruit. And it's subtle, but he's even known for his dry sense of humour and jokes around with Sora and Cloud.

Leon is wise enough to know when he needs assistance and will ask for it if needed. It takes time to get to know him and he forms friendships slowly because of this. But once he's someone's friend, he's there for them. He can be blunt, direct, and forceful too if the occasion calls for it and even test someone by a show of skill with his gunblade like when he beat Sora at their first meeting in Traverse Town. But he'll do what it takes to get things done.

He is also very intelligent, he can use and navigate the town's computer system and his mind is quick at figuring things out. He's also quick to adapt to technology, magic, and situation, and jumping from world to world isn't a shock to him. He might take some time to come up with a solution or battle plan but usually it's with others in mind.

Leon is a giving person but only those around him or have worked with him know this. But he does what he does out of the goodness of his heart, like giving Geppetto and Pinocchio a home after being released from Monstro. He's a proud noble warrior with a secret heart of gold, or depending on who you ask, it's not much of a secret, but it's a well guarded one.

Leon competes in the Games in the Coliseum and in the Underdrome, so he does keep his battle skills sharp and can be a formidable opponent. When he first fights Sora in Traverse Town, he uses Fire spells as well.

Inventory:

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? Just relax.

Other Characters: Jacob, Inesa, Enis, Princess Luna.

Character Information
Name: Yuffie Kisaragi
Canon: Final Fantasy VII.
Canon Point: Post Dirge of Cerberus.
Age: 19

(canon) background: Final Fantasy VII Wiki.

abilities: Yuffie is able to use ninja weapons such as shuriken and throwing stars, setting traps, and stealing. Against her best efforts, she knows how to perform tea ceremonies and a handful of other princess lessons that she couldn't avoid. She is agile and acrobatic, possessing more speed than strength. It's important to note that Yuffie is horrible at getting out of rope... Other than that, Yuffie is a standard Ninja when it comes to her non-magical skill set.

Limit Breaks!
Greased Lightning - Dashes at an enemy and strikes hard with her weapon, inflicting 31⁄8 times normal damage.
Clear Tranquil - All party members have their HP restored by half of their maximum HP.
Landscaper - Damages all enemies with an earthquake, doing 3 times normal damage. Misses flying targets. This is an earth-elemental attack.
Bloodfest - Attacks random enemies ten times, doing 5⁄8 times normal damage each time.
Gauntlet - Launches a large bomb that hits all enemies, inflicting 13⁄4 times normal damage. Ignores enemy's defense stats when calculating damage. Always a critical hit.
Doom of Living - Attacks random enemies 15 times, doing 5⁄8 times normal damage.
All Creation - Hits all enemies with a powerful beam of energy, doing 8 times normal damage.

Personality:

Yuffie is complicated and at times a contradiction. She is rather rash stubborn and argumentative. She is more likely to rush off without thinking things through and then claiming that whatever went wrong hadn't been her fault or it had gone exactly as planned! She isn't a bad person but she is regularly inconsiderate, thinking of herself first and foremost. She isn't above name-calling or sticking her tongue out at foes that chose to taunt her.

While she can be very childish she is also sometimes wise. She has a wide understanding of the world though she truly believes that Wutai is at the center of it. When she acts, she commits to what she's doing and doesn't stop until she's finished. She isn't very perceptive but she gets a sense when things are going downhill. More often than not she feigns ignorance and continues doing her own thing because that's the easiest way to handle complicated topics and awkward situations.

Her past has left her feeling lonely and empty. She looks up at her father and considers his acts against her as a declaration that she isn't loved, wanted, or fit to rule Wutai. She wants to fight for her home and her father, and prove him wrong, however, she is very skilled at finding the worst ways to do that. There are small triumphs and distractions that fill the void in her heart. One of which is her tendency to become infatuated with boys. They have to be strong and skilled, with a kind heart in order to capture the princess's eye.

Yuffie is proud and cocky which usually only lands her in shouting matches or fights. To those who don't understand her or only see her surface persona, she is annoying and difficult. If she considers you a friend she is more likely to open up but she still keeps many at arm's length. It's hard for her to trust fully never knowing who is really on her side.

Despite her failings, Yuffie is very clever and cunning. She has spent her life training and trying to do what she can to complete her goals. She won't let anything stop her from moving forward. She has room to grow and learn. It’s difficult and will take time but her views are ever-changing with every people that she meets.

Yuffie's best quality is that she is always able to smile. No matter what's happening or how bad things get she will keep things light-hearted with a smile or at times a pout. It is the way that she survives things that she might not be able or ready to handle just yet.

She is animated and despite being a talented shinobi, she isn't good at hiding her thoughts. Everything is painted in red across her expressions. The only feelings that she has masterfully hidden away are her fears and her worries. She's lonely and worried about losing the few friends she's able to make over her lifetime but she won't let anyone see that weakness.

Inventory: The clothes on her back. The Fūma Shuriken; with Steal, Ice & Restore Materia in it. She likely has a few other Materia on her that don't belong to her but I'm going to make those go missing upon her arrival because it'd be funny.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? The freedom to act without restraint.

Player Information
Name: Meghann
Age: 30+

Other Characters:Aerith, Ivy, Illyana, and Mitsuru

Character Information
Name: Haru Okumura
Canon: Persona 5 Royal
Canon Point: The very end of the game
Age:18

(canon) background: Here!

abilities:Haru has access to her final persona Lucy. Lucy specializes in gun damage, psio damage, and status debuffs/party buffs. Beyond that she's somehow strong enough to swing huge axes and scythes in battle and likes growing things.

Personality: Haru has a reputation at school for being...well, odd. That perception of oddness mostly comes from the fact that nobody really knows her, as she keeps to herself and goes to great lengths to avoid interacting with others. Despite her polite and cheery outward appearance she has intense trust issues, believing that most people who want to befriend her only want to do so because of her families money and position. In some ways this makes her seem extremely naïve (she is) and she often finds herself struggling to tell whether someone actually cares for her or if they just want to use her. The way she decided to handle that confusion was simply to avoid it altogether by expecting that most just wanted to use her. Slowly she's begun to recognize that it might be better to give people a chance, but it's a process that she's only just started on.

Haru had always admired heroines in superhero TV shows and she'd always dreamed of being one, so getting the opportunity to be a Phantom Thief was something like a dream come true. She's passionate about being a Phantom Thief and fully dedicated to supporting everyone in their mutual goal of fighting for their brand of justice. Despite this comradery she is, at first, pretty formal towards everyone. She was raised to be subserviently and that's a difficult mentality to get rid of. It takes the group reassuring her that she's just as important to the team as the older members for her to lighten up. Once she does lighten up though she's all in on the friendships, using nicknames for people and being very kind and supportive towards everyone. (Even when she maybe shouldn't be supportive...)

That's another negative-positive to Haru: she's kind to a fault. She's so kind that she's even supportive of the most ridiculous and over the top ideas. She's the only team member that nobody argues with and she's also the only one that almost always supports the ideas and passions of others. If everyone else is chastising someone, she's there to have a quick line to emphasize that she's there to support them. She's empathetic and easily able to place herself in the shoes of others, even going so far as to express a degree of sympathy for Akechi of all people. She understands what led him to becoming who he is and she can't help but feel sympathetic towards that. She's also very self-aware of her status and the privilege that she's been born into, even going so far as to decide she'd like to take initially take a lower level job in her company to really learn how things operate.

She's very gentle, very thoughtful, and very level-headed. She gets excited easily, especially when she does something that the group finds useful (like growing vegetables) and is extremely happy when she's included in things. When everyone goes to the school festival she expresses how happy she is that she "finally" got to go to one, because she'd never been able to go go one before at all, let alone with friends. The desire to please and the desire to be included with friends can often lead her to seem a bit over-eager but she does have the best of intentions. She wants to be seen as useful and valued very desperately and actually has a very self-deprecating view of herself. Due to her father never showing an actual interest in her beyond what he could use her for she grew to have a very bad opinion of herself, calling herself weird and worrying that she's not good enough or capable enough to do anything.

It's very rare to get Haru to actually decide things on her own, mostly because she's been raised to listen to whatever orders she's been given. Lately, she's been trying to learn how to express her own mind more but, again, it's a process. Freedom is something she does greatly value and her desperate desire to have this freedom is expressed in her Phantom Thief side of "Noir." Noir (and Haru by extension) has quite the sadistic side to her, expressing her desire for more battle and stating that she gets a thrill from cutting enemies down and seeing them beg. This sadistic side is shown even further in the third semester when Akechi seems surprised that they'd accept him back into the group. She states that if he betrays them again they can just kill him with the most matter of fact tone that could possible exist. She's also evidently an extremely reckless driver, finding a thrill in going as fast as she can.

All in all Haru's a complex girl that's just now getting to live a life on her own. She's doing her best to try to enter into the world and become someone worthy of carrying on the Okumura name.

Inventory: Just what she has on!

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? For everyone to just relax.

Player Information
Name: Heather
Age: 30+
Contact: discord (vikael#0221)
Other Characters: Shinjiro Aragaki, Drizzt Do'Urden, Cloud Strife, Jagger Crowe, Harry Dresden

Character Information
Name: Ren Amamiya | Codename: Joker
Canon: Persona 5 Royal
Canon Point: End of Game
Age: 16

(canon) background: A wiki is worth a thousand words

abilities: Ren is a Persona User with the ability of the Wild Card, meaning he's capable of switching his Persona in battle to suit different situations.

The Persona accompanying Ren are as follows:
» Arsene
» Lucifer
» Vishnu
» Mother Harlot
» Odin
» Lakshmi
» Ardha

Outside of Persona, as a Persona User, Ren has superhuman strength and speed. He is exceptionally agile and skilled with dagger fighting and handguns. He is a stealth expert and capable of pretending to be whatever the speaker believes him to be.

He also possesses the Third Eye, which is an ability which allows him to see entities through nearby walls and things hidden from view, such as made magically invisible. It also allows him to find hidden switches or doors.

Outside of combat and subterfuge, he's also very skilled at designing and building tools such as grappling hooks and other small tools of the thieving trade.

Personality: Even before coming to Tokyo and awakening to his Persona, Ren has always been a young man with a powerful and directed moral compass that is not swayed by societal norms and "fitting in the mold". He may have been merely a child of 15, but he didn't hesitate to attack an adult when they were abusing another, and even after getting shipped off to another city after being framed for assault by the man he attacked, he didn't lose his sense of justice. He isn't afraid to get his hands dirty, and is somewhat of an adrenaline junkie who lives for the thrill of a challenge as much as he does for a successful operation.

On the outside, and the guise he allows most people to see, Ren is a quiet and well-mannered youth who follows the rules and keeps his head down. He even wears a pair of glasses for which he requires no prescription in order to better put forth his demure image. Underneath that guise, and known only to his closest friends, is a rebellious trickster who cares very little for the constrictive and conforming rules of society.

The duality of nature, his deception of being a mild-mannered and fully conformist student by day and a devious and plotting thief by night makes it inherently difficult to get to know him, but his staunch determination to help those in need and to use his abilities to bring down those who would abuse their power to use others coupled with his ability to plan ahead and his dedication to his friends makes him an affective leader and those who follow him would do so without question.

He is immensely kind and selfless, and the motivation to help those who can't help themselves is a driving force in many of his decisions, though he rarely shares those motivations with others and has no concern for what legal implications may be a direct result of his efforts to help those in need. While morally motivated by aiding others, he has no qualms with accomplishing this by manipulating a fundamental part of a person who is abusing others, forcing them to change without their consent. In this manner, Ren has a very 'ends justify the means' mentality, though there are limitations on that. He isn't a murderer, but a thief, after all.

Over the course of his time with the Phantom Thieves he has come to see them as his surrogate family, and in an ideal reality, would choose not to return to his small hometown and would instead rather remain in Tokyo, living with Sojiro and Futaba, and finishing out his high school years at Shujin.

In conversation, he has a sarcastic sense of humor, cutting in his teasing at times, and is genuinely playful with others. When he first met Morgana, he petted him for instance, even though his is clearly an anthropomorphic cat and not just an animal. He usually reserves his playful comments for his friends, though. He can be something of a risk-taker, though even he can become flustered in situations that are high risk and outside his usual purview (such as Operation Maid Watch).

His flippant and sometimes oblivious outward demeanor mask a young man with quite a sharp and cunning head on his shoulders, who is capable of eking information out of people in order to help them, though it should also be noted, once he begins to let people get close, it's easier to see through his facades and read him a little better, as evidenced by every one of his confidants figuring out he's a Phantom Thief.

Ren is something of a showoff, fighting with flourish and teasing opponents in fights, though he is also a skilled negotiator who is capable of bargaining with those same opponents to get them on his side, and also in cutting deals in order to obtain items or information. He is, in many ways, the gentleman thief his Persona represents.

Inventory: Casual outfit consisting of dark blue jeans, sneakers, a dark turtleneck, and a pull over jacket, his glasses.

A shoulder bag containing a few pens, his cell phone, a notebook, and a lot of empty space where a cat used to be.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? The freedom to act without restraint.

Canon Point: Modern day
Age: 23 Way older than dirt He looks young, and looks like a kid according to Zack's TDM with him.

(canon) background: Here & here
(original) world & history:
(CRAU) background:

Abilities: Britain has the ability to perform magic, such as spells and curses, and can also summon demons and other magical creatures. With this he's pretty smug and is convinced he's the best at it in the whole world, except for when he accidentally summons Russia. He's also able to communicate with landwights but isn't limited to creatures from his homeland. England is able to see/interact with spirits from even Japan's home. But when Britain mentions these gods, Japan insists that he lives alone and England realizes that nation cannot see or hear them himself. And of course he's pleasant to them, and they are polite and courteous in turn to him.

He also is friends with a flying green bunny, unicorns, fairies, gnomes, and the like. England also can't cook (no matter what he says otherwise, just ask Italy) but he can embroider/sew, and is fond of reading and building things and is creative with the making of them such as the panjandrum, toys for America, a machine that boils eggs, and a machine for beer from the tap just to name a few. He can also spy (most of the time) and wield a sword with a ferocity. He was a former pirate too, sinking Spain's mighty Armada at one point.

England is a fan of Sherlock Holmes, and does dress up as him at Halloween sometimes. He has a guitar tattoo on his arse and has a singing voice that can at least lull Baby Americas to sleep.

Arthur is a personification of his country. When his people are suffering or in pain, he feels it or gets ill and suffers right along with them.

Personality: England tries to pass himself off as a calm prim and proper gentleman. However, this 'gentleman' has a sharp tongue, and a quick temper to boot when he gets mad or aggravated. He can also become haughty, become condescending and project the ‘better than you’ attitude, especially when he’s trying to prove a point, such as sinking Spain’s ‘invincible’ Armada. He can also hold grudges and throw events at other countries that happened in the past. And then there's the fact that he also hates to be outdone or proven wrong.

England seems uncaring and tough or harsh on the outside, issuing frequent criticisms due to his superiority complex. He may seem prickly, but once he's a friend, he's loyal and is sweet and sentimental such as when his 'little brother' Sealand (Peter) is around. He does the same for America, worrying and fussing over him when he was a younger nation. He'd very maturely decided that he was going to take the heavy responsibility on to take care of America (Alfred) and live with him awhile to help each other out.

And then baby America went and wrestled with a bison.

But he continues to worry when something goes wrong such as when Sealand calls him regarding not getting christmas gifts. Also when he and America fought in the Revolutionary War, England had bested him but was ultimately unable to shoot America even though he very clearly had the high ground. Instead he got down on his knees and grieved their rift and bonds breaking wanting to know why this was happening.

England originally wanted to be America's brother. However, when the young nation echoed big brother, that shook him up due to his own bonds of brotherhood being tough. His own brothers mailed him curses & then he had his long rivalry with France to consider. So he left America alone because that's what he knew, and had been normal for him. So he figured that other nation would be just fine with it and deal with it just as he had to do.

Around most of the other countries Britain seems amicable. He can be friendly and gentle around people (supernatural or otherwise) who treat him kindly. Along with those things he's quick to help and even if he initially says no to assisting with something (ex France) he'll still end up doing it. However normally with France, he is very sharp tongued and says at one point he doesn’t care if France dies because it’s his own problem after France wants them to get married for self preservation. America is another due to there being a huge loss and it's said that he suffered'100 years of heartbreak due to this separation' which is thought to refer to the Revolutionary War. And so America sees England's stubborn pride and tsundere side due to not wanting to admit his true feelings about the entire thing which he hides behind teasing Alfred.

Britain is also insecure, and so when he senses that someone may judge him or make fun of him he's quick to show a nastier side like a shield so they can't judge everything about him. He does suffer from low self esteem too and his caustic comments/barbs can be directed at someone else and yet at himself at the same time.

England seems to want friendship at times although he's not quite sure how to go about it, saying hanging around in Europe drives him nuts. France himself calls England 'friendless' and the 'Black sheep of Europe'. And at one point, England says to himself that 'he's always done things alone before, so he'll be fine.' Due to this hermit like nature, he isn’t able to express himself properly when confronted with something he’d rather not deal with or discuss. He does a lot of spluttering, turns red and tries to change the subject. He can also turn and say that whatever he did for someone wasn't done for them, but for himself.

Britain also seems disarmed when someone shows interest in him such as Japan seeking him out after the Axis Powers had interviewed the other nations in regards to how they each celebrate Christmas. And he's touched when Japan showed interest in being friends with him. (He tried to be friends with Germany who ended up slamming the door in his face) Unexpected gifts (from Finland dressed up as Santa Claus, that England said he was 'too old to be excited for') tend to soften him up as well as long as he's not cynical towards that person.

When he drinks, it's said America always brings him home. And that's when his feelings come out, being upset at America turning on him and not being sure as to whether he's Catholic or Protestant. However when he's sober, he'll stubbornly insist that he never said anything like that at all.

And when it comes to flirting, he's terrible. Germany was able to find out England was himself because he wasn't shamelessly flirting with all of the pretty ladies that walked by him. Too, he didn't want to take his clothes off and parade around naked like France did for the Olympics.

England also possesses a rebellious streak. The bishop said only women should have long hair, so England ran away and grew his hair out for about six months, only to trust France to manage it. France then chopped it short, right back to where it was. His run of 'luck' doesn't stop there either. At one point he gets hit in the head by a star that Italy had wished on that would hit him. Another time he goes to his house and tries to work his magic and ends up summoning Russia. Russia also loves to break his cursed Busby chair as well. And when England goes to curse Germany with like minded cloaked folks, America happens to stop by and England simply asks if he's heard of knocking. This magical side and ability is hushed by him to America when in front of the other nations after Alfred asks if his magical friends are there at a conference with him. Magic requires intelligence, and this side is shown again when he captures Italy as bait to lure Germany to the Allies.

Character Information
Name: Lyanna Stark
Canon: A Song of Ice and Fire
Canon Point: just before she dies in the Tower of Joy giving birth to her son
Age: 16, but aged up to 18 per discussion with the mods

(Canon) Background: Wiki

Abilities: Lyanna is skilled on a horse, and is said to have even practiced tilting at the rings, a form of jousting in which the horseman rides at full gallop and inserts his lance through small metal rings. She can use a sword, though she's never been permitted to carry one by her father. She also knows how to clean and bandage wounds.

Personality: Lyanna is strong-willed, often described as having a touch of wildness to her. Her House has a reputation for being honorable and just, and she has a strong sense of that; she'd once seen to the defense of a bullied young man, his family loyal vassals to hers, fending off his bullies with a tourney sword. Her wildness and boyishness may have been influenced by the fact that in the North, there are women warriors, notably the Mormonts of Bear Island, plus she's the only girl among four siblings, and she's close with all her brothers. She's known to speak openly with Ned, one of her older brothers; she'd poured wine over her younger brother Benjen's head when he'd made fun of her for crying; while Brandon, their eldest, had been on his way to his wedding when he'd learned she'd disappeared, and had changed course to the capital to bring her back.

While she's described by her own father as having "wolf blood," her stubbornness hasn't really equated to disobedience and rebellion. She'd accepted, though begrudgingly, her betrothal to the Lord of Storm's End, and she didn't go around wearing a sword because her father forbade it. (It is, however, widely speculated that she'd disguised herself to participate in the tourney at Harrenhal as the Knight of the Laughing Tree, who defeated the three bullies that she'd confronted earlier the event.) Her dutifulness is perhaps why her elopement with Rhaegar had been interpreted as an abduction, because her family could not believe she would run off with the (then married) prince on her own accord and bring dishonor to her House.

The Starks, however, are also known to be melancholic and brooding, and after all that she's been through, it would be no surprise if she starts to embody that as well.

Inventory: Just the bloody dress she's wearing on her deathbed, and, for some inexplicable reason, some dead rose petals in her hand.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? Freedom to act without restraint! Lyanna has always been on the wilder side, boyish even despite her upbringing as a lady, and while recent events have tamed that some, she still would want to be free of political machinations and courtly expectations, living and loving as she pleases.

Other Characters: Nida, Lauri-Ell, Rhy Maresh, Tommy Shepherd

Character Information
Name: Zack Fair
Canon: Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core
Canon Point: After Passing his blade to Cloud (before seeing Angeal)
Age: 23

Canon Background: Canon Background (Remake Continuity Not Relevant)

Abilities: As a member of ShinRa's SOLDIER program, Zack has undergone quite a bit of enhancements thanks to Mako treatments, as well as further enhancements by Hojo's experimentation with Jenova Cells. This has led to a lot of physical enhancements such as superhuman speed, strength, durability, resilience, and even enhanced healing factor.

For more traditional skills, Zack is a master swordsman (perhaps one of the best in his world's history) talented with the use of greatswords such as the Buster Sword. His skill is sufficient that he managed to fight and defeat two of the top three SOLDIERS in the program, and even held his own for a time against Sephiroth before ultimately losing. Through his training with Angeal, Zack also became skilled at hand to hand combat, but this is not his favored style and it's the enhancements he has that make him truly dangerous with his fists. In addition he has passable skills with ShinRa Mass Produced Materia (enabling him to make use of magic and other enhancements), and knows how to use this to enhance his melee combat skills.

Finally of note is that Zack's Limit Break (a form of specialized combat abilities only accessible in high stress or special circumstances), allows him to copy the abilities of others that he has seen performed. Here, separated from his world and it's magic, he won't be able to gain new connections to further this. But this does enable him to use a selection of abilities, including one tied to an enemy of his. These triggers will be far rarer in game here than they are in canon.

Personality:
Strengths
Zack is basically what you'd want in a hero (which is great because that's his goal, to be a hero). He's got an amazingly positive attitude most of the time, something that he uses to lift up the people around him and make the best of a bad situation. He's friendly, meaning he can turn most people around him, even those that are leery of ShinRa or who are private people, into friends or at least allies. Zack's super protective, even of strangers, which leads to him throwing himself in the way to save others, just as much because honor demands it as because it's the right thing to do. And more than anything, Zack's always ready to work, whether that would be a mission or just some task he's set himself or agreed to, like building a flower cart. It doesn't matter, when he says he's going to do something, he does it.

Weaknesses
Zack's attention span can give him a bit of trouble. Things that 'bore' him won't get the full benefit of his work ethic, which can include training in areas he doesn't think are important. There are also times when even his positive attitude can be broken through, leaving Zack in a dark mood where he isn't fully trusting of the motives of people around him. He also isn't always the best at realizing when his loyalty has gone too far, when those he has given it to are not worthy of the gift they are being offered. This can mean Zack sticks around with something even when he shouldn't, even when he knows things are wrong and shouldn't be trusted. He sticks around to hope to cause change from the inside, even if all logic would say that wouldn't be likely to happen. This blind loyalty can also lead to him trying to redeem people who are beyond the point of no return.

Character Information
Name: Lord El-Melloi II / Waver Velvet
Canon: Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files
Canon Point: End episode 8
Age: 29

(canon) background: Wiki Here

abilities:

As Waver is only a third generation, his magic circuit and crest are considered the lowest level as far as quality and abilities are concerned. Due to this, he lacks the prerequisites to practice mage craft at the level of his peers. While he has improved his abilities since he was young, he still would be little good in a confrontation against most other mages. They would, without a doubt, easily kill him if he couldn’t figure out a clever way out of a situation. The list of what he is known best for is as follows.

Hypnotic Suggestion: He is capable of low-grade hypnotic suggestion, as seen in the Fate/Zero series where he makes an old Canadian couple in Japan believe he’s their grandson from abroad while he needs a place to stay during the grail war. However, due to his low skills, it must be re-enforced frequently as some information missing from the spell could cause it to fail. Waver feels like he’s something of a failure for not being able to make the spell last. ((NOTE: This will have a special permissions space in my permissions. He doesn’t really seem to use this anymore, but I am including it since it is something he knows.))

Mystic Code: As Lord El-Melloi II, he carries a case of cigars that act as his ‘Mystic Code,’ they are all put together by him and there are quite a few varieties with different effects depending on his need at the time. There are cigars for defence, for creating a ‘bounded field,’ for stabilizing the mind, and for activating magic circuits. Ironically, the younger Waver couldn’t handle the smell of smoke or alcohol. However, he panicked when Reines informed him he would be taking on the title of Lord El-Melloi until she was old enough to take the position and that he would need a mystic code. Cigars seemed like something that would make him seem more lord-like, and so that was what he went with.

Observational Skills: He possesses a very keen eye and a mind for interpreting and picking apart the finer points of something to unravel its mystery. This means by observing how other mages work as they display their own specialized mage-craft, he essentially figures out how it works rather quickly. This is seen as a bad thing and described by both his old teacher Kayneth and (his now student) Luvia that all he does by understanding the mystery behind someone’s mage-craft is destroying it. Because by understanding it so completely, he could make it less potent, especially if he spread such knowledge around to the point that it is well understood by a large amount of people.

That said, there are benefits to this. He could assist in changing the mages’ thinking, and help to fine-tune their methods or make improvements. He could also, of course, break the method down to its basics and rebuild it with his own ideas and improvements, different enough to patent himself to make money to put towards paying off his debt. ((NOTE: I have included this in his special permissions post, as I do not intend to have him figure out/talk about how someone else's magic/abilities might work without their permission and interpretation of how it works.))

These observational abilities also come in handy when called to investigations. He knows enough to focus on the ‘whydunit’ as opposed to the who or how. Because a crime committed by a mage could be committed in any number of ways with very little chance to narrow it down based on that alone, and the why eventually leads to the who.

Skilled at teaching: Waver discovered his worth as a teacher upon returning from his world travels to the Clock Tower, having the desire to fill the space left behind by his teacher, who died in the grail war. He feels responsible for the man’s death, given his rash decision to steal the piece of Iskander’s mantel to prove to his teacher that he could be a great mage himself. He feels that if Kayneth had entered with the summon he was originally meant to, he wouldn’t have died (That said, Kayneth’s younger sister knew that he would have died regardless, as he wasn’t suited for combat compared to other mages. She does, however, take advantage of Waver’s guilt and doesn’t explain this). So, after having matured a lot between the way the fourth grail war ended and his travels after that, he returned and took out a loan from his friend Melvin Weins to purchase the empty class.

There, he discovers that he actually has an innate talent for nurturing the abilities of others. For three years before even being pulled into the position of ‘Lord El-Melloi II,’ he carried the class and presented results that no one else would have expected. Where the greatest known teacher at the clock tower was known to cripple or traumatize their most promising pupils, Waver’s learn at increasingly impressive rates simply by his guidance and lectures (even if some students are... more challenging than others...). Impressively (though inspiring jealousy in him), every one of his students rises to incredible heights and achieves no lower than the impressive ranks of “Brand” or “Pride” within a decade.

Alchemy:
He is capable of using basic alchemy and often carries solutions in vials in his pockets while investigating a case. He uses them most often to find trace elements of mage craft in water or blood that might present a clue to solving something, like giving him an estimate of a time of death or time of a crime depending on the concentration of magical energy remaining in traces of blood or other substances left behind.

Personality:

While Waver has gained a lot of maturity in the time since his experience in the Fourth Grail War, he still has a cowardly streak in him. He is painfully aware of how easily he could be killed by other mages, considering his subpar magic circuits and young lineage. He more often masks his fear behind a blank expression to a severe frown these days instead of freaking out or crying (though he will break down behind closed doors). He constantly struggles to keep his fears from keeping him from acting as it might have in the past. He wants to be a better person than he was in his youth, wanting to be worthy of being considered one of Alexander the Great's subjects.

On top of that, he often doesn’t have the luxury of retreating. He owes two great a debt to some people, and if they send him somewhere with a purpose, he has to see it through. So, instead, he tries to mask his fear and press forward (though it often manifests in him shaking visibly if one is paying attention). He most often talks a big game around those who mean ill. He will act overconfident or come up with elaborate and believable bluffs to keep a foe’s attention until someone with real power can arrive to help.

Truly, Waver tries to act the part of ‘Lord El-Melloi II’ and present a facade of a person with noble upbringing and impressive standing in the mage community. Even if he’s only a ‘seat warmer’ until Reines is old enough to take her rightful place at the Clock Tower. Even as other lords and mages of great power throw insults and admonish his ‘Theory of Modern Mage craft’ class, he keeps a straight face and acts in a respectable manner. That said, it’s a pretty big challenge. Waver is still a very dramatic an emotional man at times. Prickly and easily ruffled by some people, and prone to reaction no matter how much he tries to contain it. Some people or comically painful situations will always be able to push his buttons.

He’s quite good at holding a grudge in these situations, and will not hesitate to look up various ways to curse someone or something that has upset him if he doesn’t expect there to be a rebound coming back at him for it. Though... He has been known to accidentally utter empty curses behind closed doors about the other lords at the clock tower, and accidentally ended up with a low-grade rebound curse to inconvenience him.

Although even his anger has its limits and deep down, he has a very kind, soft heart. An example would be in the situation with the annoying cat that Gray kept feeding when it makes a habit of getting into his apartment (though one can note that he left the windows open), it scratches up furniture and tries to make off with his shoe which results in him hurting his already injured foot further. Waver immediately begins going through books on how to cast curses, with a petty tone as he ignored how ridiculous the desire was. But never actually acts upon it, instead focusing on his next days lesson plans. The next morning he happens upon the cat severely injured and despite is voiced complaints, cradles the creature in his arms and carefully brings it back to his study to treat it through the entire evening in an attempt to help it, despite his lacking talents in healing magic. He refuses to eat or change while it’s in his care, displaying a particularly soft-hearted side that few mages possess. Most would simply ignore such a thing and move on.

He considers life precious, and is often stricken with the feeling of failing when faced with the loss of those around him. Either by failing to figure out something before it’s too late, or not quite making it in time to stop someone else from doing something terribly stupid (like sacrificing themselves and giving themselves to the fairies to put an end to their family’s mistakes). Despite his cowardly nature, he is very quick to put himself between someone and a blow from some spell or creature rather than staying out of it for his own good.

Waver is quite soft around children as well, both his students on occasion (when they aren’t annoying him or potentially poisoning the class by stupidity) and the children of mages he meets during cases. This likely stems all the way back to the grail war. In Iskander’s company, they discover the caster-class spirit and their master’s (a local serial killer at the time) workshop in the sewers where they used children kidnapped through the city in their experiments, magecraft and creative projects. The horrors he saw that night were an eye-opening experience to the cruelties that many mages wouldn’t think twice on. It leaves him with a deeper understanding of how dangerous mages who have abandoned their consciences and sense of decency can be, even towards innocent youth.

Years later as Lord El-Melloi II, he often shows a particular kindness to those younger than him, either his students or other young members of mage families. Such as Rosalind Istari, during the case of the Castle of Separation Adra, where she is trying to drink tea like an adult but finds it too bitter to enjoy. When everyone tries to tell her she should add cream, she puts him on the spot to ask if would really be proper to do it. He gives her an elaborate explanation on how proper ladies and gentlemen take their tea with cream and she should add as much as she wants. He ends up having to brush off Gray’s notice of his indulgent, kind-hearted response. Another example being his student Mary Lil Fargo. When called upon to get to the bottom of her father's death, he realizes after everything is said and done that Mary likely knew her father's experiment would end in his death. When she asks why he wants to know and what her answer would mean, he simply states he wants to know the 'whydunit' of the case and that there is nothing he would do because he has 'no proof' anyway. Leaving her to her freedom with a brief word of thanks.

It has been noted by many that despite desiring to be a great mage himself, who understands that being as such often means becoming a monster for the sake of their craft, has made his goal and life ultimately harder on himself because he refuses to let go of his humanity. He is, without a doubt, too kind to be a mage despite his outward attitude.

Even in his adult years, Waver is something of an introverted loner who has a hard time connecting with people. The amount of people he seems comfortable talking with can be counted on one hand, even if he’s constantly forced into situations where he has to socialize with others quite often in order to pay back his debt. If Waver had it his way, he’d spend most of his time locked away in a room with books, researching mage-craft and writing papers. Or... Playing video games as a hobby picked up from his time with Iskander, having become addicted to them and enjoying the nostalgia he gets from his time with the spirit during the grail war. Either way, the man could be described as a nerd quite easily by anyone who happens to get to know him well.

He’s very much a creature of habit and he does not appreciate interruptions to his routine. Whether it be someone pulling him away from research for class plans or grading his students work to go off on some bothersome trip, someone interrupting his gaming, or a location that he frequents closing down, even a slight inconvenience can throw off his entire mood. It makes him irritable and far more likely to argue or complain about how stupid something is, easier to lash out because he’s been thrown off balance himself. This can get him in trouble to varied degrees depending on the situation.

That said, even with his easily fouled moods and prickly responses to inconveniences? He inspires an incredible loyalty from his students and those he meets. Even those who dislike him tend to find themselves changing their opinion or softening it once they get to know him beyond a surface level, and either go out of their way to help him or seek his tutelage. It is said that if his students all got together and rallied around him, the entire dynamic of the Clock Tower itself could be altered.

But Waver is content to simply continue on the path he's set for himself, and is still so very caught up in the past and his desire to see Iskander once again. He hangs onto the relic that summoned the spirit in hopes of entering the grail war again, with no other intent other than to show the king how he’s changed and grown thanks to him. Turning down advances from others and unable to return the feelings of those who confess, all because he wants to see the man again one day. Even as he’s moved forward with his life, having changed and improved. Becoming an intelligent, observant and more humble man since the years he was only a bratty, narcissistic mage he used to be when he was a student, he still clings to the memory of Iskander and his promise to the king to live and one day tell him his story.

This is something he needs to move past and accept that it might never happen, especially as it is said that heroic spirits do not retain memories from the prior grail war they're summoned. So even if he gets to see the man again, it's very unlikely that he'll remember meeting him and their time together.

Inventory:
Case of his mystic code cigars, a cigar cutter, a knife, tubes of alchemic chemicals, a lighter, a notebook and pen, a magnifying glass, a small brush, a pair of glasses to ward off the effects of mystic eyes

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: He's already got one of those things, so I think "Freedom to act without restraint" because he's been ordered around a lot lately.

Character Information
Name: Shade Trepas
Canon: Original
Canon Point: 2020ish
Age: 22

(canon) background: Shade is part of a coven of witches that practice death magic. The world very much looks down on their type of magic and he’s in direct conflict with another coven in his area that are nature/life witches. However, neither are good/evil even if the death coven is looked upon as evil. Shade’s not particularly naturally gifted but has worked and studied hard to become a talented practitioner and is focused on keeping balance in the world wherever he can.

He’s lead a rather normal life all things considered. He’s started college after graduating high school and is in his 4th year studying for his archaeological degree.
(original) world & history: Shade’s world is pretty much the typical modern world. Witchcraft isn’t exactly mainstream but it is considered with more legitimacy in his world but other than that there isn’t much of a difference. He is part of a small coven in Toronto and they have a rival in a much larger coven outside of Toronto in the less urban area of Ontario.

Shade has grown up under the supervision of his mother who is the coven’s leader. She’s always been disappointed in him as he’s not naturally gifted and nor did he have any inclination for necromancy as she does. He’s aware that people look down on their coven and tries to fight against the stigma on death magic wherever he can. There’s nothing particularly outstanding in his personal history. He has had a very normal life, all considering.

He is unaware that he is destined to bridge the divide between the nature and death covens who in ancient times were meant to work together for balance and harmony.
(CRAU) background: N/A

abilities:

Death Magic: use magic that brings death to living things
-he rarely uses this, if ever. Maybe to help a creature find a peaceful end if beyond saving. The amount of energy and power that it would require for him to bring death to a human or humanoid creature is highly unlikely without a strong relic or someone assisting him. There is also very little reason he would have to do it.
Divination: gain insight into a question or situation using an occultic, standardized process or ritual
Osteomancy: gain insight into a question or situation using bones

Personality:
+ Compassionate: Contrary to what people may assume about him based on his craft or his looks, Shade cares deeply for people and all living things. He wants to make the world better and keep the balance so the world is safe for everything in it. He goes out of his way to help when he can and never expects anything in return.
+ Intelligent: Despite not being naturally talented in death magic, Shade is very smart. He studied hard and through his will-power and natural intellect has become a formidable witch and also an excellent archaeological student at University.
+ Honest: Shade is honest to a fault. He’s not very good at telling even white lies and that makes him a tad socially awkward but trustworthy.

= Weird-loner: Shade is weird. One might expect this from someone who grew up in a death coven. He dresses in all black and his hair is two-toned black and white (he’s heard every Cruella joke in the book so don’t even). However, he loves things like Hello Kitty, fluffy, small animals, etc. He likes to talk about weird topics and will opine about balance of nature and life and death if allowed.

- Naive/Trusting: Shade believes the best in people even when they give him no reason to. He’ll trust anyone until they give him a reason not to instead of making people earn his trust. He doesn’t expect the same out of anyone else, though. Mostly, he believes that everyone has the best intentions even if they’re wrong.
- Grudges: What it says on the tin, really. While, it is extremely difficult to anger or rile Shade… once he feels wronged or worse if you’ve wronged someone or something he cares about or that’s innocent he will definitely not let it go.

Inventory: a necklace with a small vial that has tiny bones from the ear of an ancestor that he always has with him, backpack with some archaeological textbooks and his notebooks, bag of gummy worms, spell book, a small pouch containing various small herbs/artifacts for his craft, a bunch of random pens and broken pencils.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax?
The ability to teach and to learn.

Character Information
Name: Daeshim
Canon: original
Canon Point: After venturing outside of the Ruinwood's protective boundary for the first time in decades.
Age: 400ish, but appears to be in his early 20's.

(original) world & history:
Daeshim comes from a modern-day world that's much like the one that we know. However, monsters have and do still exist, even if their numbers are much smaller than they once were, and the general human population no longer believes in them. Some have adapted well enough to live alongside humans, while most non-human creatures stick to the shadows and wild places - like the Ruinwood. This is the world that Daeshim comes from and knows, an old forest that shares its border with a young human city.

Daeshim is the progeny of a Seelie and an Unseelie, and therein lies many of his problems. The blood between the two is very different, and while Dae feels the pull of both, it's never been strong enough for him to fit in at either Court. Plain and wingless with a penchant for roughspun clothing, he was looked down upon by his mother's side. He was also deemed too gentle and cowardly to survive with his Unseelie kith and kin. So he basically raised himself, in a small area of woods within a much larger forest. Growing up his only company was the creatures you would imagine in such a place - deer, rabbits, and the crows that brought Daeshim news of the human city nearby, along with a little bit of its trash to trade with him.

Eventually Daeshim ventured close enough to see it for himself. The human world was strange, and so were the humans who lived it in. But Daeshim's curiosity was truly sparked for the first time. There were many things that he wanted to know about, but none more than the shiny humans. Daeshim calls them "shiny", because they shine like stars or tinfoil in the sunlight. It means anyone who's either passionate or gifted in something, whether it's art or math or human magic that sets them apart from the crowd.

Daeshim noticed one "shiny" human in particular, a young girl with cruel parents. In an impulsive decision, Daeshim stole her away to his woods, where an unlikely friendship began. Other Fae came to intrude, and humans followed. Frightened by all of this, the girl ran away, and sadly death found her before he could. Daeshim blamed himself for this.

This was the day the Ruinwood gained its name and its reputation, because that's exactly what it became - a place dark and ruined, with tales of a lone, twisted creature that lived within them. The animals fled, the water turned stagnant, and flowers stopped blooming. He became even more of an outcast with his own kind. Things remained this way for a very long time, long enough for humans to be born, grow old, and die. But his curiosity (and his loneliness) eventually called him back to the very edge of his forest and the shiny ones who lived outside of it.

(CRAU) background: n/a

abilities:
chlorokinesis: Daeshim has the ability to sprout, grow, and manipulate a number of trees, plants, and fungi that are native to the Ruinwood. In the case of trees, this growth doesn't happen overnight, but still progresses much faster than it normally would.

shapeshifting: Besides being short and purple-haired, he has the ability to take two other forms. One is his "Guardian" form, a nightmarish figure with long limbs, a skullish face, and antlers. Inside the Ruinwood, he towers at over 12 feet tall while in this form. Outside of his forest, it'll be more like 5 feet tall. When forced to go on the offense, this is the form that Daeshim will take.

Daeshim can also turn into...a purple mushroom. This most often happens when he's feeling especially sad, afraid, or when he's injured, as he heals more quickly in this form.

cursing: Daeshim can cast curses on anyone who's not magically protected. These curses can be anything from minor irritations to the classic of turning someone into a toad. They're mostly mischievous and temporary, but his Unseelie blood does give him the potential for darker things too. Daeshim has only cast such an unforgiving curse on one person in the past, a murderer. (No curse ever done without discussion and player permission first.)

He also has all the skills of living and surviving in the forest - swimming, climbing, foraging, canning, etc.

Personality:
Daeshim is a bit of an odd duck for his kind...or for any kind, really. Maybe it was always in his nature to be different from other fae, different from the blood of either of his parents. Maybe it was the lack of their influence in his life that made Daeshim his own being. An argument could be made for either side, but what is clear is that his unique upbringing (or lack thereof) played a huge role in his future relationships with humans. Daeshim's head wasn't filled with prejudices or cruelties - stealing humans, whether for fun or food, is an accepted norm amongst them. Even for Daeshim, they started out as a source of curiosity. Humans lived in a world that deviated greatly from his own.

But once he realized just how special and how fragile they can actually be, he found himself being protective (and a bit covetous) of them. He even went so far as to bring them to his woods to keep them safe from being "extinguished" from the dangers of their world. As well-meaning as he was, there is a slight problem with this...

They didn't ask him to.

Because despite the fondness that he can have for humans, Daeshim is decidedly not one. He can be hard to understand, just as he also sometimes struggles to understand. He naturally has a resting b face - b as in "blank". This along with a tendency to stare makes him a little bit creepy to some people. There are also some human boundaries that still confuse him. Telling him that he "can't" do something is likely to be met with a response of how he actually can - kidnapping humans, for example. Explaining to him why he shouldn't might be a little more successful, but not always. It's hard to tell if Daeshim can't understand some of these principles, or simply doesn't want to.

Many of the fae in his world possess a morality that's gray at best, but things that aren't a concern with Daeshim include violence of any kind. This one hates it, and even the sight of blood makes him panic. He's also honest, willing to compromise ("make deals", as he might call it) and will never break his word. His kind actually can't lie, though they are very good at playing around with words so that things always work out in their favor. Daeshim's been known to do this too from time to time, but he'll be straightforward more often than not, especially with those he knows and cares about. He's also someone who lives almost entirely in the moment. As a long-lived being, he doesn't really consider that tomorrow might never come, and so he rarely thinks about tomorrow.

Despite being "old" by human standards, Daeshim could still be considered a young adult for a fae. This is part of the reason why he can sometimes be stubborn and immature. His mood can change quickly, and he often avoids conflict or any discussion that he doesn't want to have by literally running away from it. Daeshim is also stingy and suspicious when it comes to his found treasures, be it acorns or a shiny cigarette lighter, but that's nothing when compared to how he is over people that he's fond of. He thinks of these people as "his", and sometimes has a jealous streak when other people get close to them. He hasn't forgotten what it feels like to be lonely and abandoned, so these people are his real "treasures". Daeshim can also be incredibly affectionate towards these same people, and for that same reason. Seeing as how he really had no emotional guidance during his earliest years, it's really to his credit that he's as well-behaved as he is.

All of this may make him seem inhuman, but many of his own kind find him slightly repulsive too. He doesn't have the ethereal beauty of the Seelie Court, no fine clothes or gossamer wings. He also doesn't subscribe to their cruel, shallow ways. The Unseelie Court would see him as small, weak, and useless, but Daeshim doesn't have their taste for blood either. He is ultimately just himself, and while he might struggle with words of gratitude or apology, and deny being kind or helpful to his last breath, he can still be quietly counted on for these things and more.

Inventory:
A rucksack with a few of his "treasures" - acorns, pretty stones, a couple of crow feathers, tiny pinecones, a shiny packet of ketchup.

Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax?
the freedom to act without restraint
