☰ CURATOR OF THE HISTORIUM

Situated directly across from the entrance to the illustrious Historium, where formerly rested a large glowing orb atop a stone dais, stands a life-sized statue of a man by the name of Percy, if the plaque at its base is read. To the side of the plaque naming the Curator is a ball of marble, under which a paper note is hung:

For inquiries, please touch the ball.

Those who follow the directions will be rewarded with Percy himself materializing before them quite abruptly. He doesn't mean it to be jarring, honest.

Percy is helpful in finding reference materials and the like, as any good library, but he isn't called the Curator for nothing. He's available for specific chats. It should be noted, if you'd like to try your chances finding something from home, or finding something out about this place, try a thread with Percy. He knows a lot more than he lets on.

☰ YOUR PRAGMATIC GUARD CAPTAIN

Captain Orson Khannar is always available in his office during regular office hours, 8am-5pm, and can be contacted via messenger (it doesn't seem he has a Tell Phone, which is a bit odd) any other time. Messengers are available at the Guard Office in the Market district.

Click the link if you'd like to thread with him! Captain Khannar is in charge of keeping the peace in Aterat, and the guard headquarters is also home to the city's rudimentary prison.

Type of request: Horses for the wedding day? A surprise carriage ride will bring the newlyweds to their new home (wherever/whichever Nida has picked out!) & chocobos and Nida aren't a good idea to mix, especially on a wedding day.

Adding the gift of music for the reception! Not sure how to really work this, but dancing is important!

Character Name: Ignis
Type of request: stuff for Winter festival - such as snow, lots of lights, in ground hot tub, a small train to go around the city, horses for the winter festival for sleigh rides - European style christmas markets (including Japanese ones) with all the foods associated with. Moogles to give directions as to where things are if people get lost? Skiing, snowboarding, sledding. All of this would disappear once the festival is over.

She would gladly provide those things, though it would most likely be restricted to the circus complex and the park. Those places are both immense and sprawling and perfect for a Winter Festival. Would it be alright if it occurred at the end of the month? I think it might be a great way to ring in the New Year, and I have an event planned for the beginning of the month with a darker theme and it could use the balance of a nice festival.

Now that Yuna has learned more about the cemetery and the source of its shield. She goes looking for answers from the one who had apparently put up the shield. She doesn't know how long it'll take to find Athony but she's stubborn and determined.

"What is happening to the shield around the cemetery?"

He isn't difficult to find as he responds to a ring at the fountain portal. At least it's assumed he lives wherever it goes. He steps through nonetheless.

He glances in the direction of the cemetery when she asks before responding.

"I assume its prisoner is testing the wards."

[ It doesn't take long for the historian to find himself in the Historium. That's basically his natural habitat. The Directory itself resembles an Allagan Node enough that G'raha finds it natural to not only address it directly, but to do so with a commanding tone uncharacteristic of how he's spoken to anyone else. ]

I want to know about this world's history.

[The Directory stirs as he approaches, the mists within swirling as though awaiting just such a command, though when it comes, the swirling slows somewhat and it may actually seem disappointed.

After a moment, darker bits of mist converged into a word that floats within the Directory's depths for a moment.]

Thanks to Nida and recalling things back home, Leon decided to take a walk. His feet had led him here to the Captain's office and he knocked on the door with his gloved hand. He wasn't sure what to expect as he really didn't know this man at all. But there was something he wanted to do and work on accomplishing, so this was the place to start.
